Saaaaame!!! I’m 57 and my hooded eyes, were the reason I stopped wearing shadow/concealer and eyeliner yet I bought every shadow/eyeliner known to man…I don’t wear them but I keep buying them….I now have confidence to get them all out and try again!! I love makeup and here is a reason to start wearing it again!!❤❤❤

I need to check out these adhesive shadow shields! I've been using this technique for about 6 months, it's definitely made me love my eye makeup & I've gotten really creative with it, it's so much more fun now that my eyes actually pop! Try it with a pale liquid shimmer shadow & WOW

Honestly... I've been applying my eyeshadow like this for a few years now. It's quick, easy and really lifts hooded eyes.
I love how you always explain as you go - really helps. It was nice that you showed subtle colors for hooded eyes, since sometimes I don't necessarily want dark or heavy contrast during the day. YOU get us older gals (60 in June!) Love you!

Absolutely excellent! I do this with colors too, including metallics, glitters. It all works. It’s the shape and light-to-dark transition that does it. 🫶

Thank you for this Wayne, very easy to follow. I’ve just ordered some eye pad stickers off Amazon, I’d never thought of using these before, but looks like a good way to get it right ❤
Certain brush shapes make it very easy to do this, without having to use extra stuff like the shield or tape, esp if you like everything diffused and well blended. I have a couple brushes that seem to fit the corner perfectly, and my impossible to find round sponge tip is absolutely ideal for adding a super dark bit of depth above the outer corner.
I keep referencing back to these videos. My favorite makeup artist. Helpful, practical, awesome tips. thank you for sharing your gift with us!!! ❤

That’s a lovely look! I’ve actually quit wearing eyeshadow beyond a “one and done “ as I’m never pleased in the end. I’ve even thought of tossing some of my eye makeup for this reason. I can’t wait to try this!! Cheers!
