To me, it was Marie Pascale Elfman who quite literally made this film the quirky classic it has become. This remains her only film role, according to what she told me years ago, and she designed and created the entire set. She was such a delight, and without her the film would have been far too heavy handed. I simply cannot conceive of how the sequel will be without Marie...and yes, this really is her actual speaking voice.

She said in an interview that it was her real accent and she wasn't exaggerating it. Also her ex-husband confirmed it. I don't know if it's true, but that's what they said.
Before I saw the captions, I thought Pa was speaking some sort of weird German. Like, I thought he was just inserting random exaggerated German words into the part where he talks about the “terrible things” beyond the Forbidden door. For example, the part where he says “They capture and torment all the little sweet young girls” I couldn’t hear the words “sweet young girls” clearly, so I thought he was saying something like “Shi-can-doilles” (Tried to spell it out the best I can) which I thought was a German word for girls. So yeah, I know no German. I have no idea why I thought that.
I love when pop's voice just becomes Cab Calloway xD

Y would Frenchy want to go to the Sixth Dimension?
Because why not?
5 stars....and my wife looks like a big fucking bug.
Forbidden Zone is a classic…!
Though I’m concerned about your wife looking like a bug. Have you gotten that checked out yet?
