Lean PCOS and Medical Gaslighting || Girl Guppa

It took ‪@ArushiKapoor91‬ a whole year to figure out her terrible cramps were a symptom of lean PCOS. Gaslit by doctors who refused to look further it was always a ‘well shit happens’ diagnosis mostly blamed on her being underweight. Sadly, this weight bias is far too widespread and goes both ways. Here’s just one story of how women are undiagnosed and purposely kept sicker by the system.
