I love this old-fashioned Jim Henson-ish puppet stuff more than any CGI they can throw at me. For instance, Spielberg ruined E.T. on DVD by putting in a CGI E.T. instead of the old puppet one. Yeah the old one looked like a puppet, but that was part of its charm.

This creature looks uglier than the space slug from The Empire Strikes Back. Or Dice Ibegon from A New Hope. Not even the Rancor from Return of the Jedi looked this hideous.

This movie was great. Before you could just watch "Star Wars" movies at-will, this brought a little of it back from the theater to the TV.
