honda city weigh class vehicle deserves 195 tires, 175 is too skinny and is provided to save a little fuel. I have a Altis with stock 195 sec and I know that it comes with 215 sec tires in global market which ill be going for the next time, 195 isnt that bad and hold corner speed of upto 120 without making a mess but an upgrade would add more character to the ride.

hii !. nice video sir. I have honda city on driven 50k km on Michlein Primacy 4St 195/60 R15 (with 1/4 tred wear). Touchwood ! it never ever sliped on corner even @ 100kmph. Wet and dry breaking both are arround 1.5x shorter distance, with minimal ABS use as compared to 175/65r15. NO PICKUP CHANGE BECAUSE DIAMETER OF 195/60 IS SAME TO 175/65. But 185/65 r15 is larger in diameter than 175/65 so pickup drop and factory setting of ABS is relatively not compatible to your tyre.
Love Primacy 4St cos ZERO !! SOUND on rolling. My friend (also honda city 2011 owner) driven my car and he was crazy to change his own car tyre to primacy 195/60 but michein is not available in india so we are planning for UC6 195/60r15 for his car. I have been looking for a detailed review like this. I'm planning to upgrade my 175s to 195 UC6 in the next 1 or 2 days and your review might be the best and most honest thing which can be considered sir. The 175s are a disgrace for a car like City since there is such low confidence on high speeds and turning plus the noise is abysmal. I just have a doubt. My dad's Elantra is also due for a tyre change and we mostly don't want to go with the OE Hankooks again so should we consider UC6 for those as well or should we go for Yoko Earth 1 or MRF Perfinza. Michelin is mostly out of the question since every dealer is either devoid of stock or has old stock which is a big No. Plus it's 8.5k+ which again doesn't seem feasible. Please let me know what would be the best option for Elantra, currently on 205/60/R15

It remains sensitive at high speed too. So i changed to 195 section tyres still the steering lack of feedback persists. And suspension also is not plush and even the suspension makes thud noise over sharp highway joint or pothholes. I think honda city is not a car jiski itni hype bana rakhi hai k mast hai wagerah wagerah. People just think k ek cute sedan hai jiski seats achi hain aur woh bol dete hain k badiya hai. UC6 is much better for long term use and breaking.

Earth-1 is tough as nails. Don't need to baby them at all. At 32,000+ kms, 70% tread is still left on mine. Tradeoff is extremely harsh ride quality and a noisy ride over cement roads.
UC6 should be more comfortable but would need some more care compared to Earth-1.

Continental cc6 or ucu or Michelin Primary 4 , Conti 8.5k Michelin 9k. I am looking for utmost comfort and handling. Mine is honda city 185/55/16 stock tyres Bridgestone Ecopia..

@@srinathc1868 please consider MRF Perfinzas also. Hear nothing but good things about them. I think they are priced lower than the Continental UC6s.

    CC5 इंडियन रोड की नही बल्की माइंड के हिसाब से बनाया गया है (SIDEWALL, LONGLIFE, PRICE of which we Indians are fond of. )

      उसका treadwear रेटिंग 340/360 हैं उस हिसाब से 40kkm ठीक है.
      Manufacturing date code और date of installation में कितना फर्क है उसपर भी टायर लाइफ depend होता है.
