To be honest, norwegian cheese is mostly really bland. There is a lot of good, strongly flavoured cheese from norway, but norwegians don't eat a lot of cheese with strong flavours.

Since the whole point of the ad was to put together people, or creatures, who would never really get together, it stopped running.

So the blue cow is the mascot for the Nidar chocolate/candy company, one of the largest in our country. And no, I have no idea why they made it so small and gave it the personality of a puppy dog. It is similar to Emmental/Masdaamer. Big holes, semi hard, fatty and slightly sweet and nutty. Great on crackers with slightly sour jams/gelly. It is a cheese for people who like an aromatic cheese. I store some at home at all times for variety. Goes great with mustard sauce as well. Snack cheese, doesn't melt well.
No, because who even likes Jarlsberg? 😩 He can buy his own damn cheese if it's such a big deal, or they can agree to get both. I'd rather have two cheeses in the fridge than a constant argument with my partner. Also I've never met anyone that seriously prefers Jarlsberg over Norwegia or Synnøve 🤷🏽♀️

So the blue cow is the mascot for the Nidar chocolate/candy company, one of the largest in our country.
And no, I have no idea why they made it so small and gave it the personality of a puppy dog.
In an older Nidar commercial it was also singing (possibly rapping) with a deep male voice, even though it has udders (so it's a female).

It is similar to Emmental/Masdaamer. Big holes, semi hard, fatty and slightly sweet and nutty. Great on crackers with slightly sour jams/gelly. It is a cheese for people who like an aromatic cheese. I store some at home at all times for variety. Goes great with mustard sauce as well. Snack cheese, doesn't melt well.
