Anno 2070 My vanilla population record: 395k

Sorry about the fps drops in the video but the game doesn't like having so much stuff going on at once so its starts to slow down.
I could have lowered graphics to low but it would have made the cities look lot worse.
This is not the absolute the best because:
1. You could probably make better layout for the islands so you could get more houses
2. You could supply more tycoon employees, engineers, executives on the other islands but this would massively complicate the supply chains and could be even impossible
3. You could do the same thing that I did but during the 5% more executive houses global bonus and you would get more genius + researcher houses which would lead to higher population.

well played. really good work. I tried also to get as high population in vanilla, but i dont using the items for the free resources so i bulid a factory. But you are really smart to use this items. but i had to tell that the only way to complete this is to play in multiplayer, cause the npc,s dont traide enough. but it is a nice savegame and take a lot of work. great work man.

I have not seen anyone getting higher numbers in vanilla, so it might be.

It's the 2nd highest population you can find. The current population record holders are "Die_Annomaten" (since 2012). They build a savegame with a population of 455.047. Anyway this savegame is very impressive, too.
