    honestly, as a 16 year old living by myself (my parents went back to the philippines, while i'm staying alone in a studio until i graduate high school), this really helped! usually my parents would send money over, but since my 16th they've stopped sending anything altogether, so i had to get myself a job, and it was really hard figuring out what i needed and wanted.

    Stuff like that needs to be in schools if you ask me. This kind of skills and knowledge is absolutely invaluable and not every parent does or even can provide their children with it. Thank you for this comprehensive guide :)

      Couldn‘t agree more. First of all the parents should prep their children to live on their. Nothing against financial support but the awareness to budget should be taught as well as giving them an helping hand.
      Instead of learning stuff like the photosynthesis or mitochondria, this kinda lessons would be more valuable for our kiddos. 👍👍👍

    Ahh laundry, the true final trial of adulthood.
    What setting? what speed? how much detergent? What kind of detergent? What's this thing called fabric softener? How much do I put in? When do I put it in? Can this item go in ? is this dark or white? What temperature? How often ? does it need to be inside out? WHERE'S THE OTHER SOCK ?? Will it fit ? When will it be dried? Does it need to be hand-washed? Can it be ironed? Does it have to be hung or can it be put into the drawer? If I wash it today will I have anything else to wear? Emergency wash because I have no underwear and/or socks left?

      take how much you make per month from jobs/allowance and divide it into weeks, you can allocate certain amounts to food shopping, take out, essentials etc but just keeping in mind to try not to go over £30 has worked for me, im not detailed with it. you could look up prices (for me tesco is really close and the prices are online) of stuff you want to buy to help you keep in budget like if you have food to buy you could look it all up and tally it to make sure you’re not spending too much

    • @redskytais
      @redskytais Před 4 lety

      you should make it on a yearly basis so that you can see all the expenses that are yearly and save up money each month for it. but it is important to go in and change your budget if you come into a different economic situation like if you get a new job, some utility gets more expensive etc.

You set a timer for how long you want to study, and when you set that you plant a tree. As you study, your tree grows and grows and if you study everyday, your garden grows to be lush and beautiful. But while your using the app, you can't log out of the app or your tree will die. It's a cute app and it's helped be because I always get distracted 😂

    May you PLEASE do a more detailed video on how to create one of those budgeting spreadsheets in Excel. I took a class in Excel and it was very helpful, but your spread looks much more organized.

    I’ve learned more in this 9 minute video about budgeting and organizing than I’ve learned in high school and so far in my two years of college altogether.

    I love this clip. Especially I was struck by your grocery list cause I'm a housewife. Nevertheless I think you are much better organized than me about that. Thanks for the beneficial video and I want more this kind of. Plus I wonder how you've been fluent in English. If you have time, let me know how you pick up foreign languages. Have a good one.
