- Our final day in the Lake District National Park…we say goodbye to our home for the week, a hired cottage in Ullswater, before driving to the village of Sadgill…here we hike two Wainwright fells, Grey Crag and the impressive Tarn Crag, as pictured in the thumbnail. Between the two Fells we also take a diversion to Harrop Pike, with its striking pillar of stones!
Finally, disaster strikes and Elaine has a run in with sinking boggy ground!

Nothing so exciting as a good bog bashing afternoon Si. I thought Elaine would have had her gaiters on. Mind you she would have still went in. Loved the music on this one. Mark
Thanks Mark, funny enough we have just bought ourselves some new gaiters for our next trip, we're expecting rain and more mud next week!
Hi my friend. Nice video. Have a nice day. LIKE 16 👍
It’s a beautiful unspoilt part of the Lakes to explore, I remember camping there when I was completing my Wainwright’s. Nothing worse than soggy socks! Lol! 👍👍👍
Absolutely fantastic and amazing video, I really enjoy watching. Keep up the good work. Stay safe and healthy.
Looked like a great end to a great trip. Thanks for sharing a great series of videos from your Lakes trip. It’s whetted my appetite for my trip there in about 6 weeks time. Really looking forward to it 👍
We go there next week for some more Wainwright bagging! Expecting mixed weather...
Those are some beautiful landscapes. It’s been a long time since I’ve visited the Lake District. I’ll have to go again soon.
Thank you so much for watching and commenting...

Not going on the hike, staying in the cottage LOL
Series Two gets weirder LOL
I am glad the cloud lifted for you on the last day.
Looking forward to your next adventures
Cheers David, new adventures coming, will also be uploading omnibus editions of our New Zealand trip back in January...those wonderful days pre-COVID!
@@unowhotravelchannel Look forward to it.
Amazing place ❤️
wooooww look at tha fog.. must be so cold there
Tarn Crag looks fantastic, i've not visited that part of the Lake District before. Love how atmospheric it is with the mist rolling in in the distance. Your cottage looked lovely and cosy! 👍😊💕
Thanks so much for watching, we have new Lake District adventures coming in a few weeks...
@@unowhotravelchannel Great i will stay tuned for that. Looking forward to seeing more of the Lake District. We visited the Windermere area a few years ago and loved it. Would like to return and explore other areas 😊💕
Looks like you had a great time in the Lake District. Would love to do some hiking too over there (and keep my feet dry)!

Great video, helped me check out my route for this walk. Note to self, pack a spare pair of socks. Lol.
Peace
Andy H
Ah yes, never leave home without a pair! Thanks so much for watching, kind regards, Simon
The fog was thickly spread. It's like a picture.
2093 feet? Wow! That's why is so foggy, you are in the sky
Like 30 from me guys another great wee adventure from yous
Nice chanel👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Looked a very nice cottage to be fair and a nice walk to finish with, despite a muddy knee and wet boots and soaks. The weather seemed to get better and better for you as the day went on - full sunshine no doubt, just in time for the drive home! Cheers Alan
We had a great time, in fact we went back there the other week to bag some more Wainwrights, we've gone fell mad!
I looks like that here right now but it is not mist but rather smoke.... 😠 Beautiful waterfall near the end.
It’s like you two were ‘going on a bear hunt’, when it came to the water to cross. Lol the tallest pile of rocks on that hill, out of them all this series.
Hi Mel, it was a nice final day, regardless of the fact Elaine sank in the bog and mud!
but the trail and the place is very pretty
I wonder what it would be like to revisit these mountains in the winter. Do they get a lot of snow?
I think they do get a fair bit of snow, it must look absolutely stunning.
Elaine is faster than you or you let her walk ahead of you for filming purposes as Lieles says to me?
Oh noooo what happened?
How's umbrella academy? We haven't watched it
Noooo don't go home !!!
