Drew Brees story helped me get my life straight. I was a drug addict. He inspired me after reading his book, Coming Back Stronger. That was at the beginning of 2016. February 21, 2016 I gave my life to Christ and this year on February 21, I'll have 4 years clean. Thank you, Drew!

Watched him play with my son in Tampa, his junior year, to lose to Georgia. Were way ahead at halftime. Taught Drew and me a lesson. I love the guy.

The New Orleans Saints gave me a weekly moral boost during my deployment to Iraq in 2009-2010. Thanks a lot. I did miss the end of the Superbowl so I was filled with the anticipation finding out if we won during the entire convoy ride.

Iâll never forget when my buddy, who played with Drew Brees at Purdue, was saying how this young QB on his team is gonna be one of the best QBâs ever. This was before Brees even took a snap at Purdue. He also said how when Brees became a star, he never changed and treated every teammate with the utmost respect, like they were star players, and this was coming from a backup d lineman. Damn John Holloway you were spot on with this one brother! How can you not root for Drew Brees!
I remember going to New Orleans Saints games with my dad as a kid in the 80's during the BAD TIMES of Saints football. Fast forward to the Sean/Payton Brees era .. he has FOREVER changed the mind set and winning culture to the City of New Orleans. Brees YOU WILL NEVER KNOW HOW MUCH YOU HAVE MEANT TO THE THE CITY. Been a Saints fan since 1987. It a been a whole range of emotions through the years!! It has been one hell of a ride watching Drew. I wish we could win one more SB for him. It will be a sad day when he walks of that field for the last time.

As a bucs fan while I hate the saints, it was not easy to see the video of drew playing with his kids in the super dome one last time. Such a classy guy no bullshit and got the job done. He will be missed, but Iâm really glad he won a ring for New Orleans when it really mattered most. Even if this is it, we can only wish the best for one of the classiest guys to ever play the sport. Lots of life to live ahead, and hopefully all of it will be prosperous and full of love and happiness!!

This is our Qb New Orleans! Iâm from new york I remember seeing what Brees did for Katrina and it motivated me to start watching and understanding the sport I stood by drew since 2006 and he has such an energy to him that makes everyone to not hate him but love him! Drew is truly an inspiration!

Finally taking some time to watch this video and seeing Drew's retirement reminded me of Kurt Warner's life and retirement. I so admired both of these guys though the Saints were never my team. Both of these guys were CLASS ACTS, men with GREAT HEARTS, and a desire to reach out and others lives. Now as I am writing this I realize there is a movie out in the theaters of Kurt Warner's life right now I think called "The UnderDog." Maybe someday there may be a movie for Drew's life as well.

no worries. This is an extremely competitive league and itâs all about how you conduct your selves as men both on and off the field. Iâm very proud of our team and just keep training, learning, studying, practicing. You can do it just believe and one game at time it. Letâs do this thing!

Watching a man like Drew Brees reach a milestone, an unbelievably incredible feat of accomplishment, and how he responds to it, makes you thankful that someone like that received it. On the flip side, watch Rickey Henderson when he broke the stolen base record. Me me me, I'm the greatest ever, me and only me. It's humbling to know that men like Drew Brees exist.

As a lifelong Saints fan, I remember when Brooks was out and Brees was in. It felt like a breathe of fresh air and maybe we could win more than 5 games a year. Brees also turned into one of the only football players I like on and off the field.
