    Incredible global display of global nuclear cooperation. Live reactor in a display hall! Not a word of anti nuclear hyperbole in the video.
    Today, the US NRC would have arranged for a private security force to seize all materials and arrest all participants.

      That's because the true extent of Windscale releases had not not yet been made public.

      @@rockets4kids Windscale graphite based accident had nothing to with the technology setup at this event.

      @@Nill757 It was also purely for the generation of bomb material, but the public was not aware of that at the time of the accident either. As far as other reactor types go, this was also a year before the SSFL accident, which was also covered up for some 20 years.

      @@rockets4kids Right, there were also coal plant and mining fires, explosions and accidents. There was the Suez Crisis in 1956.
      All those incidents also have nothing to do with this conference and demonstration on commercial nuclear power and nuclear medicine.
