I’ve done 8 carnival cruises and the only time me and my wife had to deal with ratchetness is the only 3 day cruise we ever took. Only cruises above 5 days for us now😂
When you said "is this a sting ray?" I literally almost choked on my drink from laughing so hard! Those people were tired of twisting and tying them towels! LOL.
I agree with you 100% they are not ready for the cruise ship passengers. I was not impressed with Bimini at all.

Very late post but I am glad that I watch your video. I am sorry about your experience on Liberty but glad that you had an opportunity to hang out with your daughter.
We are getting ready to take this cruise in a few weeks. Your video helped me to prepare my mind for worst case scenario. This is our 1st family trip excluding trips to reunions, or family member's homes, and first family trip as our children are becoming young adults living on their own. I appreciate your honesty and perspective. Hopefully it will be a beautiful time with the family. And if cruise line, food, Bimini is decent, that will be icing on the cake!

You just got to hustle the hustler and show them the cash and tell them a lower price. They will take it !
I love Bimini! You should give Bimini another try but do the Resorts World excursion. It is so wonderful. We are actually going back to Bimini again this week on another cruise. As far as the golf carts you can rent them ahead of time through BMB rental and they don’t jack up the price.
Prices with them are now $90-$120

We sailed in August and went to Resort World and had a BLAST. The Beach, Pool party, drinks & food was great and not expensive. Overall it's still not one of their best ports.

Thank you for your blog. Great information and heads up. I leave in March for this same cruise. I’d planned to rent a golf cart at the 60 rate but def will not do it since they raised the price. I may check out BNB as one of your commenters mentioned. I appreciate you sharing your experience.

I love the Liberty! I loved every bit of it! Yes, food is hit or miss. I loved Bimini! But yes, people can be so disrespectful. But that's everywhere.

I've noticed that many of the cruise companies are going to Bimini. I agree it looks like there is no historical information, activities or must see sites. Thank you for this video. We are going on Virgin Voyages in April and this is the first stop. Will not waste our time.
We noticed that too. Maybe in the future since Bimini is a newer port they will have more revenue to put into making it more appealing but for now, I’ll pass!! Lol
I have heard great things abt this Port... also... everyone has a diff experience and travel diff, with different ideas as well... The liberty is one of the oldest ships and also short days, brings what you might experience as well... I have been on Liberty once and will be back on in Dec because family wanted a fam trip and majority never cruised b4... But never take the first price they tell you; you bargain with them always... im confused on this... yall had great quality time together for sure!! Good luck next time
My friend recently went on a Carnival cruise and he said the same thing, he won’t go back, He did Norwegian in Nov 2021 and enjoyed it. I’ve only cruised with Royal Caribbean and have never had an issue.
I like Royal and have heard nothing but good things about NCL! I plan to try them soon.

I love your channel. I'm from warner robins. Me and hubby taking this cruise ship in October. Our first cruise. I can feel the ghettoness already, but we will make the best of it.
Thanks! Small world! My husband is stationed out there & we lived out there for a few yrs. We didn’t totally ‘hate’ the ship or our experience but it wasn’t our best! I think it’s not bad for a first time. Just remember there’s a ton of other larger & better ones to try after this. My husband & I leave on Friday to cruise on MSC Seashore. 💜

People seem to have come undone after the pandemic. I’ve had an awful experience on RC so I’m going to put virgin in my rotation. I’m booked on the new ship carnival celebration in December. The liberty looks good for its age.

Girl! I live west of Atlanta and am going on my first cruise on MSC Seashore with my daughter, Feb 2025, for 3 nights. This will be her 3rd or 4th cruise.
I can't believe that many videos I've seen a bimin it was looking very nice that's ridiculous you should have never got off the ship it's not worth the time and effort to even get off love the video good tip of advice 😃🔥
I was looking forward to Bimini, hence the reason we got off. Heck, it’s the reason we booked a cruise to Bimini! We watched multiple vlogs that said it was nice. My opinion.. I don’t agree. 🤷🏽♀️😂
$120 for a golfcart is kinda high. Do you know how far the straw market is from beach 360? Considering just taking the tram. But need to pickup a magnet on the way to the beach.
Unfortunately, the straw market isn’t accessible by tram. However, immediately in town is a taxi stand which charged about $5 each way to the straw market (which is quite small but there should be magnets.)
I wouldn’t have paid that either. I would sit on the sand before paying $40 to sit on a chair.

Girl the last time we went on the Liberty they were fighting in the club and I was so shocked, really could not believe my eyes. But I want let it stop us I look at it this way alot be people that are cruising now have never cruised before let alone left there home state and just dont know any better which is sad.

Yes. It’s really easy to get a taxi (more like an Uber) to and from the market.

"Can we afford it? Yes" but like you said it's not the point and I totally agree! They would be surprised how many ppl would come back every single time if prices, treatment and customer service was decent at the very least. I'm disappointed because I've heard so many good things in the past few years about Bimini
I think some ppl who vlog are afraid to give honest reviews because they are in hopes of getting free trips when they say only positive things. Not saying everyone is like that but some. However, I’m going to be 100% honest. Bimini was probably the worst port I’ve ever been to.

Americans always think everything in other peoples country is expensive. Everything in the US is expensive so what makes you think other places are not the same. Inflation is happening all over the world. People in the islands have to live too.
I wouldn’t be caught dead on any carnival cruise line. I’ve always thought it was below standard and you confirmed it. Enjoy yourselves even tho it’s not what you expected.

@@neshayouwentwhere9934 I started cruising Carnival 30 years ago and yes it changed dramatically. I'm sorry that you didn't have good experience, going on the bigger Carnival ships are not going to make a difference, you have to change your destinations and time period.

Me too!! I want to try Mardi Gras but other than that, I’m putting Carnival at the bottom of my list for now.
I see with Carnival you get what you pay for I would never take them between the people that cut up on there, the food, and the rusty ships it's not it and most of there ports are not it.

Carnival is just slacking in so many areas. Try royal and NCL
I like Royal! It’s been a bit since I’ve been on one though. Will definitely be trying one of their mega ships in the near future.
You mention you can afford it. Be generous when you are on smaller Islands. They dont raise the price for you. The cruise ships and RW subsidize prices and take revenue from Island locals. These family Islands get 1 maybe 2 ships a week with supplies. They struggle to maintain normal supplies. When you make a visit to Bimini or other Family Islands in the Bahamas expect them to be uncomplicated and rustic
If you prefer shopping etc. make sure your ports of call offer. Please don't be upset with Bimini. The Port and resort do little to support locals. Many of the workera come from other Islands. The entire population of North and South Bimini is about a third less than the number of people on your ship. I will take a guess that you have never been to such a remote authentic place.
Spend your money that you say you have with Locals and know you are helping them survive. Large commercial ports are not the Island life experience.
I don't know what you do for a living but I bet you are overpaid and earn 4-5 times or more these local Islanders do.
Try Sint Maarten and St Barts. If you want shopping. Better yet. Just stay in Miami.
All I heard was you complain about everything! Why because you didnt want to pay SMH. When I saw your room on the boat I instantly knew why SMH..Been to Bimini and the Resorts World Beach Club is worth it as is Radio Beach with the $40 rental of chairs. And Sherry;s food was good and plentiful. Have never heard anyone complain so much- dreadful

That's not true every Cruise line has that problem people like to smoke marijuana whether they're at home or on vacation especially if they have a balcony and I don't think a bigger ship will make a difference me personally marijuana smoke does not bother me and I mind my business they paid for the room they should be able to do what they want I understand your safety concerns but if people are responsible like putting their ashes and cigarette butts in a bottle of water then I don't see the fire hazard marijuana is almost legal in every state even though these boats aren't assigned to the United States I think it's about time they change their policy if you can smoke cigarettes why can't you smoke marijuana
Because it’s illegal and against their policies. You’re allowed to your opinion, as I’m allowed to mine. If smoking cigarettes OR marijuana is prohibited in the room & balconies, their clearly must be a reason….SAFETY! 🤦🏽♀️
