I love that big side window on the side of the A frame cabin, it gives you a view & lots of light. I've never seen that before and it looks great. You put a lot of thought into the building of the cabin and it looks nice & cozy. I also noticed that you brought a separate appliance to cook on, smart better control of the heat, so you don't burn the pancakes! Overall you are a thinker , I wish there were more people like you around. You are impressive.

Will you get a store of food so you always have more than you need just in case you get stranded by huge snowfall ? The trick to pancakes is to put the flame a little Lower and put a glass lid on its easy to keep a eye on them and it keeps the heat in to cook them evenly. Once you see a lot of bubbles coming up through the batter the bubbles start popping/disappearing that is when you can safely flip the pancakes and they won’t be runny when you flip them to cook on the other side.

That sheet of plastic will keep out the cold almost as well as an open window. If you want to spend all your time cutting wood and heating up the grand outdoors, then this is the the way to go.
