- Harvard theoretical physicist Avi Loeb explains how the universe began with the simplest conditions and that gravity made everything extremely complex. However, he argues that if we had a theory of quantum gravity to reconcile with Einstein's laws of gravity that we could theoretically create a baby universe in a lab. Taking it one step further, Loeb says a super advanced alien civilization could've created our own universe in a lab.
This just sounds like slavery with extra steps
Miniverse
A 6e51 kg baby. Imagine the diaper change on that one.
Thumbnail and title make me want to skip this episode 😫 No disrespect to anyone. Love what you're doing. I know I shouldn't judge a book by its cover.
the theory is a bit trippy for sure but the thought exercise is educational. let me know what you think after watching!
@WeThe66 you've convinced me! Will do. :)
@WeThe66 thanks for encouraging me to give it a shot! I appreciate when experts can admit they don't know something. Rarely seen these days and it makes him more sympathetic and professional in my mind. He even tries to acknowledge his own blindspots but still gets caught up at times in trying to understand the universe and its origin according to his own system of values. I get it, it's very difficult not to; its like trying to create a new color and explain it using, well, the ones we already have...
You're just embarrassing yourself here.
Scientism at it's finest.
The Quran, Chapter 51 'Adh-Dhariyat', verse 47 [51:47]:
وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بَنَيْنَٰهَا بِأَيْي۟دٍ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ
English:
We built the universe with ˹great˺ might, and We are certainly expanding ˹it˺.
The Quran, Chapter 14 'Ibrahim', verse 33 [14:33]
وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ دَآئِبَيْنِۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ
English:
He has ˹also˺ subjected for you the sun and the moon, both constantly orbiting, and has subjected the day and night for you.
Does he think this is a new concept? or is the title clickbait of some kind
