+Dan O'Neill actually boxing started with stuff like this way before and in my opinion does it way better and longer. you got 24-7 on HBO and you got All Access on showtime boxing. And some other mini series they also got. I think the ufc got the idea from boxing becuse it was promoting the fights really well and sold better

from what we've seen from conor his striking looks amazing, his ground game looks very solid as well to be able to dominate someone like max holloway on the ground, however I think the hype train is going get severely derailed as soon as he faces one of the top wrestlers. I mean Frankie or Mendes would most likely annihilate him. Would be interesting to see how he does against someone like guida.

Conor has a good sparring partners Gunnar Nelson is a Black belt They sparr all the time. People could be very suprised how he would do against wrestlers
Take this to account we all know his been out for months due to a injury that , he had to us walking aides. This injury sustained in round one, now picture he dominated round two with this same injury. Showing he has the hurt of a champion and the ability to adapt ad change game plan mid fight.

true i guess gunni is definitely a beast on the ground and thats gotta help him out but at the same time it's a different style of ground fighting compared to edgar/mendes/guida. I just dont see him being able to stop a double leg from mendes but we'll see!

People can say whatever they want about Connor being all hype, that he has not showed that much to get this attention but, hey, people are fuckin' right! And that's the most incredible thing about Connor McGregor. No one in the history of the sport has amassed such a following and created such a buzz as Connor. Not without having a history in another organization or so. McGregor has only 2 fights in the UFC and nobody can touch him in the featherweight division as a draw.
I think he has an amazing style, but still haven't seen enough to consider him a possible future champion but if being a champion required bravato, style, wit and confidence alone, he would take the belt home because no one can touch him.
In fact, I think the MMA would benefit a lot from having a champion like McGregor instead of the unenthusiastic ones we in majority have right now.

All great champions always have that one great training partner, or maybe a couple. For Cain Velasquez ya got Daniel Cormier, Jose Aldo - Renen barao to name a couple. And without a doubt Gunnar Nelson is a huge reason Connar is doing so well

Every so often a gifted individual bursts onto the scene and dominates in their chosen field. It happens in all sports, in all avenues of life. I firmly believe Conor is one of those individuals. Future world champion right there.

gunni use to grapple at 88.5 kg and won championships (188 lbs), i like guys who dont cut weight, for example frankie edgar he beat one of the biggest LWs ever in grey maynard and only left the division after getting two awful decisions and no title shot for a few years. I'll take gunni over a lot of the top 10 after 1-2 more fights.
