- This is a recording of the Norse Attack Map on 9-11-2018 from approximately from 9:01am to 11:01am Eastern Time. Note: The Norse website is no longer active and was purchased by another company.

With over eight million sensors that emulate over six thousand applications - from Apple laptops, to ATM machines, to critical infrastructure systems, to closed-circuit TV cameras - the Norse Intelligence Network gathered data on who the attackers were and what they’re after. Norse is a very interesting piece of technology. It works by creating honeypots that are ideal for hackers to attack and once the attack happens, the attacker's IP address is logged and then displayed on the threat map.
Yeah, too bad the Norse Attack Map website no longer exists. It was my favorite for sure !!

Yeah I know. I'm sad about it too. They were bought by someone last year and they have made changes or gone bankrupt or something? The closest I can now find is: threatmap.fortiguard.com/ but it's just not the same. I was lucky to record this when I did because Norse was down most of last year.

No sorry, the Norse Attack Map site is no longer live. They started to implode as a company after the CEO stepped down in 2016. I think they finally folded within the last year?
