What I love about slayer is their consistency.

With the lights, its not all pre-programmed, only the sequences are. You still need a lighting tech to hit the queues at the right times. Which is usually part of the production for the band. Unless the band are playing exactly to a click track and its all rehearsed to a tea which is is more common in pop music shows, theres no way the lights can be programmed to sinc together at every song automatically

I HOPE TO HELL it sounds like what we're used to... Lol! He's got such a distinct sound, that I don't think it'll be an issue... God bless you and yours brother..

I do remember him saying he's working on something, but at this point I'm just like you going through Slayer withdrawals... 😂. I live in Grand Rapids Michigan and thankfully Slayer used to make frequent stops here for shows. Got to see them for the last time in Chicago at Tinley Park a few years ago during the farewell tour. There's quite a bit of video from it here on CZcams. The show was absolutely amazing (except for the $14 beers).... Keep your head up brother. Sounds like something good is in the works. ,☠️☠️

Uh oh. The Metallica vs. Slayer question. 😂 it’s hard to compare as you said because every band tends to have their niche. I would argue that Metallica has outlasted and been more relevant over time, but Slayer is talented. The Thrash metal of the 80’s is overall entirely different than the metal genres that exist today. Primarily because there weren’t as many sub-genres of metal as there are now. If it weren’t for Metallica and Slayer, the metal bands of today wouldn’t have as many influences. It’s hard for me to keep up with all of the sub-genres of metal.
Well we finally spilled the beans about the new baby to the kids and most family. We’re going to reveal if it’s a boy or a girl soon. Any guesses, Grannies?

When thrash metal broke out on the scene, you're friend recorded the album on to a tape. Everything was UNDERGROUND 😈🤘 Metallica sold out when Bob Rock came in and James got sober. Lars put the final nail in they're coffin when he dissed all the original Fan's for not buying them a new mansion. KEEP ROCKING GRANNY'S 😈🤘

BTW, I`ve worked for 2 lighting companies and have done lighting at a couple shows and your guy ya got w/u is wrong. The lighting is NOT preprammed. The lights (called SR 56`s) have colored filters that are put in them and then the lights are adjusted to aim at the musicians and they are turned on and off, and made to flash or move via someone that controls a big panel that controls all the lights.

I do LOVE Slayer, but Matallica is still my favorite. But then, that’s my opinion. 😂 MJ is the goat, but being from Michigan, The Bad Boy pistons were & always will be the goats when it comes to Jordan & the Bulls. Heavily disagree with him about Metallica being more tLwnted musicians than slayer.. lombardo is leagues beyond lars, the late great Jeff Hanneman was a better lead than Kirk Hammet. Subkectively i like Toms vocals way more than James but that's just my opinion. Love both bands but slayer is more talented
metallica is more musically talented (still less than any megadeath lineup) but slayer had better metal riffs I mean its not even close

I liked Metallica when they put out Kill em out, Ride the lightning and Master of puppets, but after that they got real sucky.
