I've tried putting it in the box similar to this setup, works well on reducing noise but terrible in dessipating heat.
You must ensure that the vent of the box is large enough, and then it's necessary to completely separate the air intake and exhaust of the machine. Otherwise, the hot air will recirculate back into the intake, causing the machine's ambient temperature to rise quickly.
yea those sound foam is bad for temp sensitive machines

No one talks bout the temperatures... Which will shut the asic down if it gets too hot.
True temperatures are the problem otherwise all Asics would be silent
I bought it for my KS 1. With a cool room and open Window, it runs at 40 degrees celsios with 30% fanspeed. I hear nothing. Good product. But i can only speak for the KS 1 with 600 watts of power consumption. The KS3 beasts with 3000 watts produce 5 times the heat. I guess it will work but only with 100 % fanspeed.

I have enclosed my miner in a box like this setup. It works great, but the heat dissipation is bad.

Sound fixed great but you have now another problem the temperature.
