As I'm ripping along to this, it occurred to me that these chords are very reminiscent of a Satriani tune that I can't put a name to.
I just love your solo stuff. I have to learn to create a 'singing melody' and start to work off that. I have zero issues shredding all over the track, but taste is in the details and the notes chosen. Your tracks are really helping me get that 'on the fly' timing adjustment that enables me to land the notes when I want to land them and then blast off into another cool run. Definitely the best backing tracks on the tube.
Since I have started playing to your tracks maybe a year or two ago, I have seen a 'very' marked improvement in my timing and playing overall. Thank you EJT. ( this looks like some cringey testimonial, but it's true lol)

These are simply the best backing track on CZcams! Thank you man for this work 🙏🏼 Just a little suggestion: I think these videos would be even more useful if you could give the viewer the perception of how long a chord lasts. I mean ... I would find it more comfortable to see the beats with a cursor highlighting the current chord (like some kind of little DAW). in this way I would have the perception of where I am and how long each chord will last. Now I’m going to have fun with this new beautiful BT! 😊 have a nice day bro!

@@kqh123 it will be a bit off because there is one note not in the scale when you do that. The key is to not focus on that one note (minor third) because the scale will have a major third. That note should be used as a passing note.

Dm is the relative minor to F. You can use the Dm pentatonic shape but target the F instead of the D.
