The original plan after this session was for Phil and Tony to do a full album but neither could really commit to the time of planning, plus Phil at the time of planning (2002 - 2003) was strung out heavily on heroin and slating anybody and everybody in the press whilst heavily promoting Superjoint Ritual. There actually was supposed to be an Iommi/Anselmo album but it got cancelled cuz of time restraints snd other commitments. There's about 2 or 3 other Anselmo/Iommi unreleased tracks. I forget the titles but if you dig around you can find them.
It's mainly becuase of the bluesy vocal style that Layne partially used and the rff that starts at 3:25 sounds like something Cantrell would write, so yes, kinda.
The fact that you can’t find this anywhere on Spotify is criminal.
