Baku is the first and only F1 race I have been to, it was an unforgettable experience, loved every moment of it. While we had seats at the start finish line, I arranged to watch the practice sessions from a balcony in the old town. The sound of the engines bouncing off the building walls was absolutely thrilling. As a professional photographer myself, it was the first time I photographed sportscars, and I loved it. I want to do exactly what you do Kym! I hope to get the chance one day!
I love the old town. I remember seeing pictures from that section of the track before I started in F1 and I just couldn’t get my head around how it would be. Of course now it’s plain
to see.

On SIM cards, I also recommend the Perth/Malaysian company Flexiroam.. their card would work in Azerbaijan

How do I work for you?
Azerbaijani regular sim cards cost 3 manat(1.8 USD or 1.5 EUROS ) and 50GB internet plan will cost you around 30 manat(18 USD or 15 EUROS)
Got two separate packages. Nearly got scammed by a guy in a small shop trying to charge 20 for each sim. Ended up wasting 40 mins with him before walking out and going to the company store. Sorted.

Judgging by the drive through over the racetrack the Russian car industry has lost out massively in Azerbaijan since the collapse of the former Soviet Union.
At 6:29, kym I get you’re just going by what you saw but please do a bit more research in cases like those. The Armenians weren’t the aggressors in that war
