In about 2003 my late husband and I restored 22 statues along with altars and miscellaneous at St. Patrick's cathedral in Ft. Worth. We were staying in a newer hotel though the name escapes me. It was at the base of some hills. Anyhoo there was a very small fenced off plot in the middle of the parking lot with 3 or 4 graves. Turns out the entire hillside at one time had been covered with graves that had been lost or destroyed over the years. It was very odd but interesting at the same time. Thanks for the upload!

And a very tragic shooting of Fort Worth police officer Hank Nava in 2005 is buried at that Mausoleum. So many other famous people. Including a tree that goes back to the 1700s. Deeper into the cemetery you have massive headstones. By the way Van Cliburn won a International Piano competition in Moscow in 1958. Not a easy thing to do during the cold war. And he played in the White House for President Reagan for Soviet Chairman Gorbachev in 1987 State dinner. Gorbachev was very happy when Cliburn played "Moscow nights"

You're right about the Quinns. My grandfather died in October 2004. My grandmother didn't last 3 months after.

Van Cliburn, right away I was thinking of Mister Rogers Neighborhood show and I looked it to be sure, and of course, he was on that show. As Lamont mentioned, about a talent as a pianist. I was really impress to see his grave.
Brownsville, Texas is a dangerous city. I wouldn't be surprised if there was something going on at the time. I did hear about a local residents back in 2004, that they went Brownsville, Texas for the winter to camp and they said that their stuff got stolen, it was their bikes and other useful things. I believe it was their last year. They went every year for decades.
