- Born in a Malaysian refugee camp to Vietnamese parents, Fr. Wayne Ly’s family moved to the States when he was young. After deciding to leave his faith immediately following his confirmation, a transformative experience unfolded during a confirmation retreat. A profound spark ignited within him, leading to a spiritual awakening that solidified his belief in a higher power and an overwhelming sense of love. This was the first of the spiritual encounters that were to follow.

Beautiful testimony. I had a profound conversion experience where God intervened through our Blessed Mother to save my marriage during a pilgrimage 16 years ago, so this story struck a chord with me. Jesus and Mary have been the center of my life since my conversion. Immediately after my conversion, I had a vision of two Hearts overlapping each other to serve as a refuge for sinners, and I was one of the worst, having led a promiscuous life like a prodigal son brought back to life. Viva Cristo Rey and Ave Maria.
