Also, I will become rather pissed if this happens to delay one of my personally most anticipated uploads, episode 5. Which in all honesty I can't see any possible way that this bullshit will not automatically be doing exactly that, if not far worse, to the man's scheduling... and hell, actually his ability to just even get his work done, at all.

Ahem:
The assassins are horrifying foes, monsters of training and technology in guise of a human. Listen carefully, for this knowledge can save your life, if you ever go against them, or at least end your suffering faster.
The woman? It's always a woman, her shape is malleable, you could mix her with your own sister, father or even your own image, so perfect is she in her art. And her horrible weapons, sword of living metal, pistol that tears your neural pathways apart, they will kill anything that lives, or has ever lived.
The other assassin, the one with grinning skull for a face? He's no assassin. He's not even a monster. He's a weapon, a horrifying tool to rip anything he's made to kill and torn apart everything that stands between him and his target. A volatile psychopath, laughing and screaming... thing that just won't give up. His pistol will end you mercifully fast, his gauntlet, not so much. And his blood is the worst weapon, volatile mix of combat drugs that will burn even after the assassin's unlikely demise.
The third one, he's a horror beyond human understanding. A soulless aberrant whose mere existence will hurt your soul, his helmet that protects his head has a skull mask like his more... normal colleague, but it is not to intimidate, but to remind that this monster is supposedly human. His weapon is a horrifying lens that reveals those who thought they could hide from his gaze a psychic black hole to unmaking, breaking minds and tearing souls apart.
These three are horrifying beyond human reason, terrors to even acknowledge their existence.
But there is one more. One that everyone, even the three others, yes even the grinning maniac, though he can barely understand the sensation he feels, fear.
Emperor help me, I can barely write these words, fingers shake and cold sweat runs down my whole body.

Nah, it's the old double bluff. Them being famous assassins makes their use less likely and reduces their workload, but there will always be those who doubt their prowess or think that it's too obvious, or just refuse to comply anyway. Besides, the more obvious methods of assassination would lose their effectiveness as basically a public denouncement of the individual by the imperium at large, otherwise. And if they really need someone specific dead anyway, it's not like the imperium lacks for killers of any sort, so why hide these particular ones? Assassins should only not be famous if not state sanctioned and protected, but these specifically are

The last 20 years of his reign might not have been as insane as you think. Everything he did likely ensured a person of sound mind and skill was able to take his place and didn't end up creating a massive power vacuum. If his political rivals were too weak to survive, they didn't deserve the responsibility. If they didn't see the assassin's blade coming for them, their mind wasn't sharp enough for the responsibility. In eliminating every possible de-facto replacement too weak for the job, he ended up ensuring a smooth transition of power after his death.

Man, the Ordo Sicarius after action reports for my assassins must make for... interesting reading.

“The vindicare assassin [REDACTED] deployed on the roof of an enemy building, but his targets were hiding behind a rock so he sat there twiddling his thumbs until the knights, skitarii, and guardsmen he was supporting had all been killed. The shots he did manage to take at various and sundry battlesuits were all blocked by drones.”
“The Eversor assassin [REDACTED] tripped, broke his ankle (triple 1’s on the charge roll) and then disappeared. When he was next observed by imperial forces, he was skewered on the lance of an eldar Shining Spear.”
She failed both the 2+ to hit and the 4+ reroll because of her BS8? Always fun when that happens.
I rewatched your Beast Arises series recently, so it's only funnier contrasting the first optimistic "it's not as bad as people say" with the "I wanted to drown myself rather than keep reading".

Arch, I've never opened a 40k book in my life. Where do I start? Stumbled upon your channel via a chain of my other interests and have become fascinated with the lore. Fantastic stuff.
The gaunt's ghosts, Eisenhorne and Chiaphus Cain books are almost universally acknowledged to be the best place to start in 40k.
