    Ingredients:
    • Shrimp (Jumbo Shrimp,White Shrimp or preferred type) - 15 pieces
    • Potato starch & sake - For cleaning
    • Garlic - 8 cloves
    • Onion - 1/6 piece
    • Olive oil - 2 tbsp (for marinade)
    • Paprika powder - 1/2 tsp
    • Shichimi togarashi - To taste (or substitute with a mix of cayenne pepper, sesame seeds, paprika, ground ginger, and orange zest)
    • Butter - 20g
    • Lemon - 1/4 piece
    • Parsley & fish sauce - To taste
    • Salt & pepper - To taste
    Instructions:
    1. Prepare the Shrimp:
    • Peel and rinse the shrimp under running water.
    • Toss the shrimp with cornstarch and sake to remove any odor. Massage well and rinse off any dirt.
    • Devein the shrimp if desired.
    2. Marinate:
    • Grate the garlic and finely chop the onion.
    • In a bowl, combine olive oil, paprika powder, grated garlic, and chopped onion.
    • Add a pinch of salt and mix well.
    • Add the shrimp, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
    3. Make Shrimp Oil and Chips:
    • Use the peeled shrimp shells to make shrimp oil.
    • Fry the shrimp shells until crispy, then season lightly with salt and pepper.
    4. Cook the Shrimp:
    • Heat the shrimp oil in a pan over high heat.
    • Cook the shrimp on one side until golden brown, then remove from the pan.
    • Add butter and the marinade to the pan. When fragrant, return the shrimp to the pan and stir-fry together.
    5. Finish and Serve:
    • Add chopped parsley, a squeeze of lemon, and a dash of fish sauce.
    • Plate the shrimp and pour the sauce generously over them.
    • Top with crispy shrimp shells, more parsley, and a sprinkle of black pepper. Enjoy!
    Tips:
    • The longer you marinate the shrimp, the more flavorful they will become.
    • Frying the shrimp shells separately ensures they are crispy and adds a nice texture to the dish.
    • Shichimi togarashi adds a hint of spice, but you can adjust it to your taste.
    • This dish pairs perfectly with both beer and cola.
