J'adore ce couple. Je trouve qu'ils vont tellement bien ensemble. J'aime leur simplicité, leur complicité. Leurs danses sont expressives, comme il faut. Ils n'en font jamais trop et racontent à chaque fois une belle histoire. Bravo
I love them... There's something special about these two. They more than just Latin dancers... There show dances proves that they are natural born performers... I felt this performance and one of my favourite songs by Secret Garden just intensified it for me. Team #france always! So talented!

Not impressed here. They are probably the best couple at this championship but that doesn't mean much in the absence of the world's top couples. It's quite funny that they are showdance champions as I always find them boring and expressionless. Again, I found myself being more impressed by their speed rather than the feelings they were trying to provoke and the emotions they attempted to portray. Just picture this program executed by the Kiselevs and you'll understand what I mean. Nice try but I doubt I'll watch this performance again.
Just so you know, its not about who is able to perform better! This is elena's story and only she can perform this. Just like that introduction said. Its about her father and the cancer he had. This is for an important cause and goes beyond any competition. Someone hiding behind a screen will not b able to witness this as compared to someone who watch this art live.
First of all, Charles and Elena actually beat Nino & Goffredo in their first participations to Freestyle/Showdance championship. So the absence of "world's top couple" is not a good point since even at this time with a lower level and a probably a less emotional routine, they won amongst all other top class couples except Zannibellato and Karpov. Poliansky did actually win in 2011 and is 2nd this year, without even be in the semi-final of Russian Championship.
I can understand that you're not touched by the idea behind the routine, but saying you're not impressed with such perfect musicality, fluidity and partnership is pretty difficult to understand.
Each year, they have a standing ovation at the GOC during their show, when NO ONE else have. That's not speed or political, that's just feelings.
Kévin Appreciate your comment but it really doesn't change my opinion about them and their routine. Nino and Krystina are definitely not what it comes to my mind when I think of emotions and performance. Karpov and Maria are superior when it comes to showdance. Kiselevs are the best in every aspect. You are right they had good musicality and fluidity, however I just did not feel the emotion but again I find their dancing very robotic and boring in general. Not my cup of tea but if you like them please enjoy!
In Showdance, performance of dancers is not only defined by choreography and technique. I think your opinion is valabe just for you and you can think that. But know that judges selected have voted favorably for their first place. Personnellement, je trouve leur performance extraordinaire et ils méritent leur première place.
I did not critique their technique I even said they are the best couple on this competition. Emotion and performance for me was lacking and sure it's just my opinion that doesn't change the ranking. Je ne crois pas que cet un performance extraordinaire mais je respect votre opinion. Anyway, my goal was not to start a discussion or offend anybody. I truly believe that there are better couples capable of better performances and it's a shame they didn't participate. I guess based on the pool of participants this is the best performance but that doesn't make it more significant. Merci!!!
