If you even have any suspicion someone is cheating, report them for cheating. If they aren't cheating nothing will happen... if they are it helps people who seem to get away with it get caught by flagging them on Vanguard. Cheating ruins the gameplay experience. I'm glad they are being called cheaters more commonly now not "Hackers" hacking actually takes skill.

I feel like more people are cheating now, you get the feeling that they always know where you are even if you are being very unpredictable. With that said, there has been a great effort from Riot to fight these devs with law suits so I hope they can keep their anti-cheat policy going forward.
i mean might be, i have around 700 hours in valorant, never ran into a guy who i was suspicous of and neither i had a game abonndend because a cheater was detected, but just in the last 3 weeks i had 2 games abonndend because of a cheater and many people where i was suspicous of, i mean might be that im super paranoid now since it happend the first time to me 3 weeks ago but still its weird

I knew by round 3 he was cheating. I said “send me the link” to him as a joke and he sent it 😂 I don’t play often. I’m literally only level 30 or so and I had 3 people so far admit they were cheating. And they weren’t even the obvious ones. Although those people were on unrated.
I’ve never once had a red screen up until yesterday we were hard losing a game and we kept getting hard swung one tapped even when we didn’t make noise or held off angles. Was kind of crazy thought it was just team diff and at 2-10 game ended and red screen. I was just reading something about cheaters in this game and how I’ve never seen one before. Guess I’ll get in the habit of everytime someone is sus I’ll just report them to make sure

I once encountered a cheater on the enemy team, and we could tell he was walling because he'd swing corners and always one tap everyone instantly with perfect crosshair placement like he knew where we were. Even more telling though was how he'd always one tap my entire team through our smokes as we tried to execute a site. No one could believe it because it was all our first time encountering a cheater first-hand, but we had the entire lobby (our team and the enemy team) report him for walling and the next day when I logged on I got a message that said someone I reported for cheating was banned and thanks for keeping our community safe lol. Oh, and we still won that game even though they had a cheater. Team diff ig
Litteraly every game I play. I've made a new account, got it to silver, and all rounds I just walk the entire time, making 0 noise, making sure no one sees me. Every single time I get randomly wide peeked prefire hs out of nowhere. Funniest part is that these idiots don't seem to realize that this is blatant cheating

maybe someone in your team cheated aswell, had the same scenario, jett in the enemy team was sus, reported her, our skye called it out first, she was our team mvp, after the match I instantly got the player was banned for cheating message thanks bla bla, we did win aswell. but that skye was kinda sus to me, but I think I was the only one reporting her. I added her and asked if she got the message aswell and also checking if she got banned, she got it but not got banned .

Pre-aiming is a thing and that’s one of many reason why it’s so difficult to detect cheaters in high elo unless they slip up somewhere while we are watching them. If they are jumping mid air and headshotting you, thats pretty clear. If they wide swung you from a common angle, it’s ambiguous and most likely: there’s a reason why you are in silver
The worst part is there are people who are arrogant to cheaters in almost all games that would rather die on a hill of "you're just bad" then report I have a friend I trio stack with in comp and we had won a game but the enemy brim was insanely sus with just to much blind info. I report friend didn't day later the brim was banned got the Lil notif. And well I had fun telling my friend
Its crazy there are some CZcams channels/ shorts that promote that one green bar wall hack so blatantly. Looks like vanguard is being shown the chinks it its armor. Honestly that is when even if Its unfair If I find somebody suspect i just report without hesitating now.
In diamond-ascendant elo I’ve had an insane amount of people cheating compared to usual. Usually you can tell becauee if you’re on attack there will either be one specific player or a full on stack on whichever site you go to every round (had probably 10 games so far past couple months to where ever we went every round a specific player would magically be there every time) but I’ve had 2-3 people full on toggle and start 1 tapping through walls past couple days.
Answering the question on 2:45, the cheat doesnt calculate or does anything weird, it just tells the bullet (which is a prop itself inside the game) to aim straight for the head of the user, so literally it is just telling the bullet to zoom to the enemies head without having a movement consecuence or flying, etc.
When I first started playing val I encountered a player who wasn't cheating but mid game he said in chat that he was gonna test his cheats and the match got terminated
eggwick, for the confusion on how hacks work, basic cheats seen in this video collect server data from the computers memory. This data includes information on the exact location of players (heads). The hack can then rewrite memory on the location of the players bullet, placing it exactly on the enemies head, and this overwrites valorant default gun mechanics. That’s why the cheaters aims are accurate mid-air, the random spray midair is replaced with the hack sending its own data to the server.
I don't think that is the case I think it's that there's an algorithm that determines random bullets spread But to have the bullet pattern show up on your screen instantly and accurately regardless of ping, the client computer must know this algorithm All there is left to do is to pre calculate this bullet spread off set and adjust the cross hair away from the head accordingly It's not that they bypass bullets spread, they just cheat to have the perfect spray control Although, I could be wrong without looking at the actual code
The reason I think this is the case is because in the Jett heaven clip, there are a couple of frame where he get a kill and the cross hair isn't on the head
idk how Riot fucked this up when CS fixed it 8 years ago. in CSGO the client and server do separate calculations but only the servers calculation is deemed valid while the client calculation is used for bullet impacts and such, I thought VALORANT did the same thing? I swear they did... there's gotta be some exploit where the cheat finds the server's seeding for their RNG or such
I had a game where our whole team was nice and I was having a good game on reyna... We were about to win like 13-2 when I got the "cheater detected" red screen... I feel really bad because now those teammates probably thought that I was the cheater because I was top fragging... I wish they still included the cheater game in match history or told you who the cheater was at least!
No anti-cheat is able to detect hardware hacks currently. Anyone can buy an arduino and use a cheat-paste from cheating forums and start cheating without ever risking detection. Competitive shooters are dead and companies need to stop milking what's left of them.
I've only seen the cheater detected screen twice. One time it was directly from the agent select screen. We didn't even spawn in and the game ended. The other time was back in 2020 in my very first competitive match. The match terminated after round 2.
You don’t really get banned unless you’re in a game with a big streamer/ get fully reported. Like a month ago there was a blatant cheater and was able to play 15+ games immortal without getting banned. I believe he got 26games of fully blatant cheating until he got banned.
For what I read somewhere, cheaters don't get instantly banned. Once they are reported and discovered, Riot keeps an eye on them to study the cheat so they can counter it later. But I would not know if that's true or not.

@@Haushinka0718 yes cheaters get put on delayed ban timers, just as you get afk timers and what not that last to specific hours, the delayed ban system works the same, from when detected to ban is a specific timer, so most people that have had games that were terminated, those guys have been playing for the last week prior to ban screen.
There have been a crap ton of cheaters in plat/diamond elo recently, they dont typically get banned mid game but you get a message when you report one and they get banned for it.
If you're wondering how he override the recoil it is the resolver of the cheat, it basically calculates the recoil and resolves it and makes he game think that he has perfect accuracy.
So basically the function which determines where the random bullet goes has to be not only on the server, but also on the client for the visual prediction. So you can reverse this if it isn't a one-way-function to know where to aim so the random bullet spread hits? Am I thinking about this right?
@@allizzz1817 I dont exactly know how it works in valorant but in csgo it was something like that, it was just calculating where the head of the player is at, checking if the player has an anti aim function that shows his body to be in a different position but his actual hotbox is somewhere else. It was all dependent on player's config. He maybe has a god cheat but if it is poorly configured then it'll preform like a regular free cheat. I have noticed how in valorant some cheats are using existing functions such as the in game observer ESP and it basically just makes it so that it shows everyone from the enemy team. My best guess is that it is calculating and after the cheat is faking that the client is grounded and has full accuracy and sending it towards the server, again idrk how it works in valorant there might be an exploit within the code of it or something, I never touched a valorant cheat before but I've seen some of it in action.
@@zachun I've noticed in valorant even if I lag pretty hard if I visually see one of my bullets hit a head it generally counts as a head shot even if the other player is already behind cover or whatnot by the time it registers that hit. definitely seems to be something client side, the server only confirms it.
in r6 siege there were cheats that literally changes where the bullet goes, this makes the aim lock look like a lucky headshot when in reality it's just the spread of the gun turned into bullet magnetism
i have never had cheaters but in the last week or so i've had 2 on my team. one was terminated after like 6 rounds, and the other had only 4 competitive matches dropping like 40 every round and isn't banned.
I've been encountering some cheaters in casual, mainly wall hacks. Like we stack a bomb site and there's nobody at the other, or we hide to save a gun and the guy runs straight to us from across the map.
Believe me there are tons of cheaters and we don’t even see them. We think they are good players, but in reality they are cheating( I don’t mean all players, but some of them).
6:47 had a match with a 57-0 jett that went the full 13 rounds, everybody reported by like round 3 & it took *6 days* before i got the message saying he was handled lmao
What are Riot doing about it though? I have reported 5 people this weekend for suspected wall hacks, 5 people in 5 different games, and have not received 1 notification to say anyone has been banned for cheating. I found since the start of this year it seems to much more common than before. Played against an Omen this weekend and 2 of us reported him, then actually queued in with him randomly in the next game and he was calling out what site the attackers were pushing before the round started, so he wasn't even trying to hide it. No ban notification.
Also, had a game where the cheater was on MY team. He was extremely obvious in that his crosshair placement, movement, and gamesense was just SO below high diamond elo. He ended up leaving the game before halftime and let us lose because he clearly didn't feel the need to try or care. The fact that I never got that elo back after losing the 4v5 is just stupid. This is another huge problem with Valorant ranked. If I have a teammate that leaves before half time, there is no way in hell that I should be losing the same amount of elo as if it was a fair 5v5. Give us back our elo RIOT! This needs to be addressed more than anything else. I swear I have more than 5 leavers a day while playing, and I still lose the same amount of elo as if it was a fair 5v5. This is a simple change that we need to make apparent to the RIOT devs. Like this comment if you agree.
Even though I would like to agree with you I see why they have it like this. And first, you also win because of leavers but you don't think about it as much as when you lose. But to the main reason why they give orbs and money when low in numbers to try have a fair fight is because if elo loss was lower people would just abuse it.
Only if you get less for winning if an enemy is AFK or else it would get people up who don’t deserve the rank And also lose same amount as if it’s a 5v5 if one of ur party members disconnected to avoid abuse But if you add those factors it doesn’t matter because you get -10 on the reduced amount and +10 on the reduced amount And we have -20 and +20 right now, you lose games and you win games due to AFKs.
Fun fact: a lot of cheaters are actually griefers - because they know they can get a free dub whenever they want, and they essentially use griefing as another power play to feel control over other people. "they lost because of me, if i came back we would win", or '"yeah if i try hard and turn on my monitor aka esp wallhacks, then we can win, but this guy stole reyna from me so i wont carry him, ill just win next game".

Mumbai has a really high number of cheaters especially in lower elos. When i was pushing from sliver to plat one out of every 4 games would have an cheater
Now that I finally reached ascendant , there are no aimbot . Never seen one in 2 years. Wallhacks , in evey like , 10 games,there is at least 1 obvious cheater and 1 or 2 that are just sus.(Always being at the right place at the right time (That can be luck) The obvious tho... always prefire your angle , holding smokes when you push, Going to the site with weaker defence, spamming smokes and walls to get chip dmg (not kill soo it is not sus to his team) I hope riot fixes it , because if you have cheats on 1 pc and the game on the other , and the pcs are connected. The anti cheat only scans the pc the game is on , soo it does not find the cheat.
They cannot fix it. You cannot detect hardware cheats. You mentionned having 2 PCs, which is valid and allows you to use radarhack and GPU aimbot, but you could simply use an arduino and some cheat you find on forums. It costs very little money and time-wise and there is absolutely no way for any anti-cheat to detect it since it's externalized. But I guess people are too dumb to ever understand that and keep wasting their money and time losing against cheaters :')
i got an unranked phoenix with level 2 in my silver have, went 29-2 never showed himself to my trips ever always, ALWAYS when ever i peaked him he was already looking at me even when it was impossible to know my position
One of my old friend’s was bronze and jumped up to immortal in like 2 weeks. I let him on my account to play with some friends and I later logged back on to find out my account was banned for cheating because of him. He screen shared for me once and turned off his hacks so I wouldn’t know and he was ass. He didn’t use util, didn’t have game sense, ect. It was really disappointing.
I've had three games in the last two days where a cheater got banned mid-game and the match gets terminated. I think vanguard is doing it's job, but they need to scan BEFORE these people get into games. It's a waste of time for everyone and causes a lot of resentment to wanting to play the game. I am high diamond elo btw, and it's very obvious when people are cheating. Most of the games mentioned went all the way into the second half, sometimes further before getting terminated. I would argue that I've had a few non-terminated games while playing against cheaters, that is elo I will never get back because they don't have a system to do that. In CSGO I would receive my elo back when the cheater I played against was banned, this needs to be a thing in Valorant for sure. It's absurd that I have to play with cheaters at least once a day. Don't allow this game to turn into CSGO, where cheaters run rampant and never get banned.
I agree about getting your elo back, I also think the game should tell you when someone you reported gets banned (like give out the specific game you played, the name of the person and why they were banned). But I disagree on banning pre-game, unfortunately they need to gather info about the cheats. It's unfortunate but it avoids having rampant cheats because they can learn how whole exploits opperate and fix them alltogether

I’ve never been in a game with a cheater but lately a new cheat has spread and it’s making people go on a rampage. I remember just seeing it in a small discord server then the server grew to 12k plus members and more and more people have started to spread it and it’s getting out of control. Valorant needs to update their anti cheat. Also it’s incredibly cheap everywhere I see it.
oh that might explain someone I highly suspect to have cheated on unrated. I wasn't alone, my team and the enemy team all came to the same conclusion. I was thinking why would someone waste a lot of money just to be banned on unrated.
The thing where they jump and it doesn't get affected by spread is called anti-spread. Used to exist in CS:GO aswell when it was not patched. But it's an easy fix from Riots part to make it so you cannot anti-spread anymore
The guy with the radiant buddy has something called a unlock tool (I think. It's in other games like warzone) it's where people can get any gun/knife skin, buddy anything.
for the the jumping one with perfect accuracy, how it kinda works from my basic knowledge is: for most cheats, they open a handle to the process and find different sectors of memory using offsets from the base address then reading/writing from/to those, to find the enemies locations and draw something to the screen (esp) or write to the float for bullet inaccuracy and make it always equal 0 (perfect accuracy). though for valorant due to their ac cheats would require either a signed driver that can be loaded adjacent to valorants ac or some kind of bypassing EFI driver (my knowledge in this area is quite limited so take what i say with a grain of salt)
This last season was just crazy many cheaters. Usually anti cheat is too bad to detect while youre still in the game (when not a streamer) and its supposed to not count afterwards but riot doesnt do anything
@Eggwick I have noticed or seen some cheaters recently in mid plat low diamond games in NA. Also, cheats and hacks are so good they can auto aim bot/remove recoil so it overrides mechanics of the "precise gunplay"
2:27 that exact same cheat was used by someone in my game. He would run and jump while one tapping every person he saw. He also had wall hacks on so the entire enemy team always knew where we were. We still got 7 rounds on them somehow, 13-7. Match didn’t terminate for some reason even though everyone in game reported him
diamond is a nightmare rn with the reset of the act... you can play a normal match but the next match will be a reyna or a jett silver/gold last act with 40 frags and 3~5 deaths (totally posible but...) sometimes the prefires and the wallbangs are just sus

it is quite possible to change where a bullet goes with a cheat. These kinds of cheats can actually make aim locks look like lucky sprays and running headshots.
I had a game where the enemy jett and pheonix had at least walls, shooting through smokes and walls all game with no info. got one clip of it when we swapped sides. cant always tell at first if its just walls they are using.
ive noticed sometimes in unrated and mostly in deathmatch there have been people peeking extremely strangely (not checking other angles) or just preaiming me when peeking, and i have seen people fighting someone else and i shoot them and they just do a 1 tap flick onto me when im not even on their screen (like solid 90-180 flicks). btw the thing for jett is a server cheat these cheats have the ability to change the games properties that are already in the game/tricking the game you are in certain scenario (i think the cheat tricks the game to thinking he isnt moving), eg: rainbow six siege right now has a really bad server cheats, hipfire is 100% accurate bullet holes are really big, ziplines can be climbed anywhere (basically flying and no clipping by using this), a really good example is tf2s old problem with cheaters tricking the game that theyhave a medic ubering them thus giving them uber.
As someone who used to cheat in games like COD and Minecraft (like 6-7 years ago), while there are tons of people who cheat for attention or cheat to look good, there are also tons of people who only cheat to piss people off.
I experienced a silent aim player not long ago, it was on pistol round and he headshot killed all of us with a sheriff under 6 seconds after we entryd, the whole match lasted less than one minute (including prep) until he got banned.
The thing I don’t like in val is the fact that even If they were actually throwing or cheating you won’t get the elo back anyway, I asked on support about it once and they told me something like “we understand the situation feels unfair but by giving ur elo back and taking the other teams elo away it would be unfair for the other team” and I’m like bruh they had a cheater or I had 3 guys throwing isn’t that unfair to me then ? So a quick thing about the jumping kills even though I'm a little late. All computer generated inaccuracy is not truly random but "pseudo-random" is how it's described. It involves inputting a number, or "seed" if you will, and then calculating from a list of numbers what number should be given to a server. It's therefore totally possible in theory, for a cheat to detect what seed the server is set to and adjust for it. On a different note, it could also directly influence what your PC sends to the server you're playing on, which would entirely negate the need to do any calculation. These are some of the many ways cheat developers do these kinds of things, and it's absolutely terrible for the health of the game, and makes it incredibly difficult to pinpoint exactly what is happening.

Internal cheats like the one at 3:00 can “calculate” and “predict” targets, the reason u miss when u are in the air is due to spread, and internal cheats often find ways to bypass spread
The bullet doesn't come out the frame you click, so maybe there is a value stored in your RAM for where your bullet is going to hit the frame you click, then the cheat moves your mouse there a frame later on the location

Had a viper insta ace round 1 and then one tap us through the whole game on breeze. The moment I lost it, was when she 2 headshots me with an odin across the map instantly. Like the range u usually use with operator.
Just came from a unrated game, I have never encountered a cheater before in Valorant and today was the day, we played as a trio on fractured and noticed that the enemies omen is really good in predicting. After calling him out it started to rain headshots and he won with 31/6, he was also using a name changer because if you look his fake name up you get on someone elses profile.

I play on SG servers. Every 5-20 games, I’ll get enemies that know my team’s exact location. We could use cringe spots that almost nobody checks at random times and they would always be able to use either utility or ego peak us with 100% accuracy.

I heard cheaters tend to activate and deactivate their hacks once in a few rounds to appear "lucky round" to opponent players

I’ve never once had a red screen up until yesterday we were hard losing a game and we kept getting hard swung one tapped even when we didn’t make noise or held off angles. Was kind of crazy thought it was just team diff and at 2-10 game ended and red screen. I was just reading something about cheaters in this game and how I’ve never seen one before. Guess I’ll get in the habit of everytime someone is sus I’ll just report them to make sure

I once encountered a cheater on the enemy team, and we could tell he was walling because he'd swing corners and always one tap everyone instantly with perfect crosshair placement like he knew where we were. Even more telling though was how he'd always one tap my entire team through our smokes as we tried to execute a site. No one could believe it because it was all our first time encountering a cheater first-hand, but we had the entire lobby (our team and the enemy team) report him for walling and the next day when I logged on I got a message that said someone I reported for cheating was banned and thanks for keeping our community safe lol. Oh, and we still won that game even though they had a cheater. Team diff ig
Litteraly every game I play. I've made a new account, got it to silver, and all rounds I just walk the entire time, making 0 noise, making sure no one sees me. Every single time I get randomly wide peeked prefire hs out of nowhere.

maybe someone in your team cheated aswell, had the same scenario, jett in the enemy team was sus, reported her, our skye called it out first, she was our team mvp, after the match I instantly got the player was banned for cheating message thanks bla bla, we did win aswell. but that skye was kinda sus to me, but I think I was the only one reporting her. I added her and asked if she got the message aswell and also checking if she got banned, she got it but not got banned .
@@cerealhit555 walking does nothing if you are moving or holding from a predictable angle. Pre-aiming is a thing and that’s one of many reason why it’s so difficult to detect cheaters in high elo unless they slip up somewhere while we are watching them.
If they are jumping mid air and headshotting you, thats pretty clear. If they wide swung you from a common angle, it’s ambiguous and most likely: there’s a reason why you are in silver
The worst part is there are people who are arrogant to cheaters in almost all games that would rather die on a hill of "you're just bad" then report I have a friend I trio stack with in comp and we had won a game but the enemy brim was insanely sus with just to much blind info. I report friend didn't day later the brim was banned got the Lil notif. And well I had fun telling my friend

In diamond-ascendant elo I’ve had an insane amount of people cheating compared to usual. Usually you can tell becauee if you’re on attack there will either be one specific player or a full on stack on whichever site you go to every round (had probably 10 games so far past couple months to where ever we went every round a specific player would magically be there every time) but I’ve had 2-3 people full on toggle and start 1 tapping through walls past couple days.

Answering the question on 2:45, the cheat doesnt calculate or does anything weird, it just tells the bullet (which is a prop itself inside the game) to aim straight for the head of the user, so literally it is just telling the bullet to zoom to the enemies head without having a movement consecuence or flying, etc.
When I first started playing val I encountered a player who wasn't cheating but mid game he said in chat that he was gonna test his cheats and the match got terminated

eggwick, for the confusion on how hacks work, basic cheats seen in this video collect server data from the computers memory. This data includes information on the exact location of players (heads). The hack can then rewrite memory on the location of the players bullet, placing it exactly on the enemies head, and this overwrites valorant default gun mechanics. That’s why the cheaters aims are accurate mid-air, the random spray midair is replaced with the hack sending its own data to the server.

But to have the bullet pattern show up on your screen instantly and accurately regardless of ping, the client computer must know this algorithm
All there is left to do is to pre calculate this bullet spread off set and adjust the cross hair away from the head accordingly
It's not that they bypass bullets spread, they just cheat to have the perfect spray control
Although, I could be wrong without looking at the actual code
The reason I think this is the case is because in the Jett heaven clip, there are a couple of frame where he get a kill and the cross hair isn't on the head
idk how Riot fucked this up when CS fixed it 8 years ago. in CSGO the client and server do separate calculations but only the servers calculation is deemed valid while the client calculation is used for bullet impacts and such, I thought VALORANT did the same thing? I swear they did... there's gotta be some exploit where the cheat finds the server's seeding for their RNG or such

No anti-cheat is able to detect hardware hacks currently. Anyone can buy an arduino and use a cheat-paste from cheating forums and start cheating without ever risking detection. Competitive shooters are dead and companies need to stop milking what's left of them.

I've only seen the cheater detected screen twice. One time it was directly from the agent select screen. We didn't even spawn in and the game ended. The other time was back in 2020 in my very first competitive match. The match terminated after round 2.

You don’t really get banned unless you’re in a game with a big streamer/ get fully reported. Like a month ago there was a blatant cheater and was able to play 15+ games immortal without getting banned. I believe he got 26games of fully blatant cheating until he got banned.
For what I read somewhere, cheaters don't get instantly banned. Once they are reported and discovered, Riot keeps an eye on them to study the cheat so they can counter it later. But I would not know if that's true or not.

@@Haushinka0718 yes cheaters get put on delayed ban timers, just as you get afk timers and what not that last to specific hours, the delayed ban system works the same, from when detected to ban is a specific timer, so most people that have had games that were terminated, those guys have been playing for the last week prior to ban screen.

There have been a crap ton of cheaters in plat/diamond elo recently, they dont typically get banned mid game but you get a message when you report one and they get banned for it.
If you're wondering how he override the recoil it is the resolver of the cheat, it basically calculates the recoil and resolves it and makes he game think that he has perfect accuracy.
So basically the function which determines where the random bullet goes has to be not only on the server, but also on the client for the visual prediction. So you can reverse this if it isn't a one-way-function to know where to aim so the random bullet spread hits? Am I thinking about this right?
@@allizzz1817 I dont exactly know how it works in valorant but in csgo it was something like that, it was just calculating where the head of the player is at, checking if the player has an anti aim function that shows his body to be in a different position but his actual hotbox is somewhere else. It was all dependent on player's config. He maybe has a god cheat but if it is poorly configured then it'll preform like a regular free cheat. I have noticed how in valorant some cheats are using existing functions such as the in game observer ESP and it basically just makes it so that it shows everyone from the enemy team. My best guess is that it is calculating and after the cheat is faking that the client is grounded and has full accuracy and sending it towards the server, again idrk how it works in valorant there might be an exploit within the code of it or something, I never touched a valorant cheat before but I've seen some of it in action.
@@zachun I've noticed in valorant even if I lag pretty hard if I visually see one of my bullets hit a head it generally counts as a head shot even if the other player is already behind cover or whatnot by the time it registers that hit. definitely seems to be something client side, the server only confirms it.

in r6 siege there were cheats that literally changes where the bullet goes, this makes the aim lock look like a lucky headshot when in reality it's just the spread of the gun turned into bullet magnetism
i have never had cheaters but in the last week or so i've had 2 on my team.
one was terminated after like 6 rounds, and the other had only 4 competitive matches dropping like 40 every round and isn't banned.

I've been encountering some cheaters in casual, mainly wall hacks. Like we stack a bomb site and there's nobody at the other, or we hide to save a gun and the guy runs straight to us from across the map.
Believe me there are tons of cheaters and we don’t even see them. We think they are good players, but in reality they are cheating( I don’t mean all players, but some of them).

6:47 had a match with a 57-0 jett that went the full 13 rounds, everybody reported by like round 3 & it took *6 days* before i got the message saying he was handled lmao
What are Riot doing about it though? I have reported 5 people this weekend for suspected wall hacks, 5 people in 5 different games, and have not received 1 notification to say anyone has been banned for cheating. I found since the start of this year it seems to much more common than before. Played against an Omen this weekend and 2 of us reported him, then actually queued in with him randomly in the next game and he was calling out what site the attackers were pushing before the round started, so he wasn't even trying to hide it. No ban notification.

Also, had a game where the cheater was on MY team. He was extremely obvious in that his crosshair placement, movement, and gamesense was just SO below high diamond elo. He ended up leaving the game before halftime and let us lose because he clearly didn't feel the need to try or care. The fact that I never got that elo back after losing the 4v5 is just stupid. This is another huge problem with Valorant ranked. If I have a teammate that leaves before half time, there is no way in hell that I should be losing the same amount of elo as if it was a fair 5v5. Give us back our elo RIOT! This needs to be addressed more than anything else. I swear I have more than 5 leavers a day while playing, and I still lose the same amount of elo as if it was a fair 5v5. This is a simple change that we need to make apparent to the RIOT devs. Like this comment if you agree.
Even though I would like to agree with you I see why they have it like this. And first, you also win because of leavers but you don't think about it as much as when you lose.
But to the main reason why they give orbs and money when low in numbers to try have a fair fight is because if elo loss was lower people would just abuse it.
Only if you get less for winning if an enemy is AFK or else it would get people up who don’t deserve the rank
And also lose same amount as if it’s a 5v5 if one of ur party members disconnected to avoid abuse
But if you add those factors it doesn’t matter because you get -10 on the reduced amount and +10 on the reduced amount
And we have -20 and +20 right now, you lose games and you win games due to AFKs.
Fun fact: a lot of cheaters are actually griefers - because they know they can get a free dub whenever they want, and they essentially use griefing as another power play to feel control over other people. "they lost because of me, if i came back we would win", or '"yeah if i try hard and turn on my monitor aka esp wallhacks, then we can win, but this guy stole reyna from me so i wont carry him, ill just win next game".

They cannot fix it. You cannot detect hardware cheats. You mentionned having 2 PCs, which is valid and allows you to use radarhack and GPU aimbot, but you could simply use an arduino and some cheat you find on forums. It costs very little money and time-wise and there is absolutely no way for any anti-cheat to detect it since it's externalized.
But I guess people are too dumb to ever understand that and keep wasting their money and time losing against cheaters :')

One of my old friend’s was bronze and jumped up to immortal in like 2 weeks. I let him on my account to play with some friends and I later logged back on to find out my account was banned for cheating because of him. He screen shared for me once and turned off his hacks so I wouldn’t know and he was ass. He didn’t use util, didn’t have game sense, ect. It was really disappointing.
If he jumps from Bronze to Immo in two weeks that should be a red flag in itself
I've had three games in the last two days where a cheater got banned mid-game and the match gets terminated. I think vanguard is doing it's job, but they need to scan BEFORE these people get into games. It's a waste of time for everyone and causes a lot of resentment to wanting to play the game. I am high diamond elo btw, and it's very obvious when people are cheating. Most of the games mentioned went all the way into the second half, sometimes further before getting terminated. I would argue that I've had a few non-terminated games while playing against cheaters, that is elo I will never get back because they don't have a system to do that. In CSGO I would receive my elo back when the cheater I played against was banned, this needs to be a thing in Valorant for sure. It's absurd that I have to play with cheaters at least once a day. Don't allow this game to turn into CSGO, where cheaters run rampant and never get banned.
I agree about getting your elo back, I also think the game should tell you when someone you reported gets banned (like give out the specific game you played, the name of the person and why they were banned).
But I disagree on banning pre-game, unfortunately they need to gather info about the cheats. It's unfortunate but it avoids having rampant cheats because they can learn how whole exploits opperate and fix them alltogether

I’ve never been in a game with a cheater but lately a new cheat has spread and it’s making people go on a rampage. I remember just seeing it in a small discord server then the server grew to 12k plus members and more and more people have started to spread it and it’s getting out of control. Valorant needs to update their anti cheat. Also it’s incredibly cheap everywhere I see it.
oh that might explain someone I highly suspect to have cheated on unrated. I wasn't alone, my team and the enemy team all came to the same conclusion. I was thinking why would someone waste a lot of money just to be banned on unrated.
The thing where they jump and it doesn't get affected by spread is called anti-spread. Used to exist in CS:GO aswell when it was not patched. But it's an easy fix from Riots part to make it so you cannot anti-spread anymore
The guy with the radiant buddy has something called a unlock tool (I think. It's in other games like warzone) it's where people can get any gun/knife skin, buddy anything.
The second one was probably a bullet cheat that bends bullets. Had encountered that kinda cheat in PUBG, but not sure if Val has it, too.
for the the jumping one with perfect accuracy, how it kinda works from my basic knowledge is: for most cheats, they open a handle to the process and find different sectors of memory using offsets from the base address then reading/writing from/to those, to find the enemies locations and draw something to the screen (esp) or write to the float for bullet inaccuracy and make it always equal 0 (perfect accuracy). though for valorant due to their ac cheats would require either a signed driver that can be loaded adjacent to valorants ac or some kind of bypassing EFI driver (my knowledge in this area is quite limited so take what i say with a grain of salt)

@Eggwick I have noticed or seen some cheaters recently in mid plat low diamond games in NA. Also, cheats and hacks are so good they can auto aim bot/remove recoil so it overrides mechanics of the "precise gunplay"

2:27 that exact same cheat was used by someone in my game. He would run and jump while one tapping every person he saw. He also had wall hacks on so the entire enemy team always knew where we were. We still got 7 rounds on them somehow, 13-7. Match didn’t terminate for some reason even though everyone in game reported him
diamond is a nightmare rn with the reset of the act... you can play a normal match but the next match will be a reyna or a jett silver/gold last act with 40 frags and 3~5 deaths (totally posible but...) sometimes the prefires and the wallbangs are just sus

I think the in air accuracy is so random that an algorithm can predict where the bullets will land
it is quite possible to change where a bullet goes with a cheat. These kinds of cheats can actually make aim locks look like lucky sprays and running headshots.
I've ran into multiple cheaters that don't even try hiding it. They are actually promoting it and trying to sell it during game.
I had a game where the enemy jett and pheonix had at least walls, shooting through smokes and walls all game with no info. got one clip of it when we swapped sides. cant always tell at first if its just walls they are using.

ive noticed sometimes in unrated and mostly in deathmatch there have been people peeking extremely strangely (not checking other angles) or just preaiming me when peeking, and i have seen people fighting someone else and i shoot them and they just do a 1 tap flick onto me when im not even on their screen (like solid 90-180 flicks).
btw the thing for jett is a server cheat these cheats have the ability to change the games properties that are already in the game/tricking the game you are in certain scenario (i think the cheat tricks the game to thinking he isnt moving), eg: rainbow six siege right now has a really bad server cheats, hipfire is 100% accurate bullet holes are really big, ziplines can be climbed anywhere (basically flying and no clipping by using this), a really good example is tf2s old problem with cheaters tricking the game that theyhave a medic ubering them thus giving them uber.
As someone who used to cheat in games like COD and Minecraft (like 6-7 years ago), while there are tons of people who cheat for attention or cheat to look good, there are also tons of people who only cheat to piss people off.
The only time I've ever seen cheater detected was losding into a deathmatch at 3 am. I didnt even get to play the dm
u can change the timeings on good aimbot u can put like 140 ms delay on a good one or200ms so its more closer to human reaction u cant fight them
The 3 minute clip I bealive the first random shot is in the game files, so the crosshair moves just enough for the first "random bullet" to headshot
I experienced a silent aim player not long ago, it was on pistol round and he headshot killed all of us with a sheriff under 6 seconds after we entryd, the whole match lasted less than one minute (including prep) until he got banned.
The thing I don’t like in val is the fact that even If they were actually throwing or cheating you won’t get the elo back anyway, I asked on support about it once and they told me something like “we understand the situation feels unfair but by giving ur elo back and taking the other teams elo away it would be unfair for the other team” and I’m like bruh they had a cheater or I had 3 guys throwing isn’t that unfair to me then ?

So a quick thing about the jumping kills even though I'm a little late. All computer generated inaccuracy is not truly random but "pseudo-random" is how it's described. It involves inputting a number, or "seed" if you will, and then calculating from a list of numbers what number should be given to a server. It's therefore totally possible in theory, for a cheat to detect what seed the server is set to and adjust for it. On a different note, it could also directly influence what your PC sends to the server you're playing on, which would entirely negate the need to do any calculation. These are some of the many ways cheat developers do these kinds of things, and it's absolutely terrible for the health of the game, and makes it incredibly difficult to pinpoint exactly what is happening.

The vandal-op thing I think is NOT a client-based thing (meaning other people can see that Jett's holding an OP) when in fact, she has a Vandal equipped.
Internal cheats like the one at 3:00 can “calculate” and “predict” targets, the reason u miss when u are in the air is due to spread, and internal cheats often find ways to bypass spread
The bullet doesn't come out the frame you click, so maybe there is a value stored in your RAM for where your bullet is going to hit the frame you click, then the cheat moves your mouse there a frame later on the location

Had a viper insta ace round 1 and then one tap us through the whole game on breeze. The moment I lost it, was when she 2 headshots me with an odin across the map instantly. Like the range u usually use with operator.
Just came from a unrated game, I have never encountered a cheater before in Valorant and today was the day, we played as a trio on fractured and noticed that the enemies omen is really good in predicting. After calling him out it started to rain headshots and he won with 31/6, he was also using a name changer because if you look his fake name up you get on someone elses profile.
i have had 3 cheaters in my ranked games. none of them got banned during the game, lost elo got the whole match too report them aswell but it still took like 5 hours

Bro can you talk about Bahrain server , it's full of cheaters , I play on it and I've met them personally, they try to hide it but sometime brag about it , I've been to gold , plat, and diamond lobbies and I saw more in gold than the rest .

Hey you talking about apex cheaters they found out how to use infinite abilities recently with no cool down the ash tactical gets spammed hundreds and hundreds of times per second, same thing with the Gibby bubble just gets spammed and it looks like a centipede it's ridiculous
i think it’s funny how egg is confused when they jump and still gets heads, it’s bc he has extended hit boxes

Every 5-20 games, I’ll get enemies that know my team’s exact location. We could use cringe spots that almost nobody checks at random times and they would always be able to use either utility or ego peak us with 100% accuracy.
