  • Join us as we spend a day with the elite Newbury Park High Cross Country Team at their altitude camp! The Newbury Park team spends a month training at Big Bear Lake, CA (7,000 ft altitude.) We join them near the end of the camp on a day when they will be doing a 4 mile tempo run, followed by an afternoon relaxing at the lake. We interview coaches Sean and Tanya Brosnan, as well as key members of the boys and girls varsity squads. They share their experiences at camp as well as their big plans for the coming season.
If you like these Episode please give us a thumbs up.

My question is it legal for this team to practice outside of school as a team. I only ask because when living in Texas this is not legal to do now living in Oklahoma rules are the same. Teams are not aloud to practice as team out of school. Teams are only aloud to practice as a team during school yr. Or should I say only when school is in session. Personally I think it's silly. Because how are teams supposed to get better unless they are aloud to practice outside of school.
