      How I learned to sing with the mix.
      I practiced and sung more in my head voice than I did in my chest voice. So, as a result, my head voice got really strong and it became really easy to switch back and forth between the two.

    Thank you for sharing. My issue is on male key song. I am not sure why, I can female song easily. But when I try to sing normal male pop song, I cant even sing in B4. But when I switch to female key, boommm magic happened. I can sing it freely no matter how high it is. Weirdly, I am a tenor, not a countertenor although I can get C#6 in headvoice. 🤔

    • @hudlepie953
      @hudlepie953 Před 2 lety +1

      I have the same issue, I think it’s because in male keys, you more likely have to navigate your first passage when in a femal key, it is either in a comfortable chest voice range (the octave down) or in a comfortable head voice (the octave up)

  • @GhastlyVT
    @GhastlyVT Před 2 lety +1

    For me, I usually use head voice like all the time, I sing soprano 1 in my choir, and I can also hit whistle tones, (despite not actually being able to whistle), and have little to no trouble with high notes and such, but my lower voice is a struggle. And I came here to get some info on chest voice stuff because I want to try and better my chest voice. I have no trouble switching, it’s just I don’t have the range for my chest voice figured out yet and I want to make it sound good for each note in my range. :)

    • @TheFameDream-nb3ce
      @TheFameDream-nb3ce Před rokem +1

      @@kevinm6790from what I know, to "thicken" the sound, push more, just go at it harder in simple words, to "thin" the sound, don't push as much, go softer so your diaphragm (abdomen) feels much more relaxed, whereas when ur pushing it feels more "tight".

    I have this issue where when I use my chest voice for too long it starts to hurt my throat so I have to use my head voice. Any advice?🙃🙃

    • @tiah4660
      @tiah4660 Před rokem +1

      It sounds like you aren't supporting (aka breathing) properly putting to much strain on the vocal cords
      With your chest voice it sounds like you sometimes push from the throat instead of pushing from the diaphragm. I would advise work on breath control and singing on the breath
      It sounds like you switch to head voice because it immediately takes all tension out your throat
      I would advise you to work on your head voice/head mix voice as well to strengthen the head voice and bridge your chest and head
