Yeah that’s a very American thing. British chat show hosts don’t do it. Not just Graham Norton. They let their guests talk. The only decent US interviewers I’ve seen are on shows like the Build series, which is just great.
@@penname5766 Not necessarily. There are many British shows that interrupt their guests and many American shows that do not. It isn't a Country thing at all. Some shows are designed that way, some are not. It is rude, I agree but to assume one Country does it and the other doesn't is silly.
Jimmy Kimmel is all too often demeaning and rude. Not to mention he's condescending and one of these egotistical abusive pricks that think they are funny or worth more. He is not a decent host, and if not for his guests, I wouldn't bother
XxKiLLsHoTTxX It's not an assumption, it's an observation; there is definitely a cultural difference in interview style. Being British, I've seen plenty of interviews on different shows in the UK and our hosts just do not tend to interrupt their guests in the same way (and I've noticed this on every single US interview I've seen, whether it's on a morning show or a late night chat show). American shows also seem to be incapable of allowing someone to talk for more than three minutes before cutting to adverts or another segment. But I do agree that there are of course exceptions to the rule. For example, the Build series in NYC, which is sensational and the interviewers ask really intelligent questions of their guests.

that was totally refreshing to hear a guy talk about caring that much about a kitten, and to have a pic of him 17 years later on his phone. i hope that cat lives at least another 8 years.
You would be surprised how many guys did this in their life, but they never get the chance to tell it to anyone.
My phone has 40% pictures of my cats, all of them are adopted. Some of them are saved from certain deaths....I feed them before i feed myself!
But i do the gym, drive sport car, and look like a player. No one even knows i talk to my cats :)

I think jimmy hasn't learned yet to be comfortable with himself as a performer and an interviewer. He needs to be present in the moment and be truly caring what his guest is saying. Instead, it appears as if he is still thinking about his stuff to make the show entertaining. He needs to find that balance where he can still be funny and interject without losing the momentum of the other's story or it being about him rather than it being a necessary contribution to the story. The people see right through it or maybe they presume this is what he is doing and it comes off as insincere

This interview was great very relaxed. It reminded me a lot of Craig Ferguson interviews which was really focused on conversation rather than promoting a movie. Kristen Bell was a favorite guest of Craig Ferguson's show so its funny to see how she has a similar style to Craig.

Does anyone else see a perfect candidate for the next James Bond after Daniel Craig? All I hear is "Tom Hiddleston should be the next bond" or Tom Hardy or Michael Fassbender or Henry Cavill. But have you noticed the sudden surge in Charlie Hunnam's career this year? I think Hollywood might be grooming up Charlie Hunnam to become the next Bond. He fits the mold so perfectly if you think about it. He doesn't have any current franchises he belongs to like all the others (Tom Hiddleston is Loki, Tom Hardy is Mad Max, Henry Cavill is Superman etc.), he's british, he has the body type, and he's handsome enough to believably portray the ladies man that is James Bond. He also has some acting chops to go with it. I think we might be looking at the next James Bond people.

I read he had to have someone teach him how to speak with a British accent again. It comes and goes.
For the first half of this video I was trying so hard trying to figure out which accent he had. I gave up, lol.. his accent is just proper messed up, like a mix of English, Irish, American with a tiny bit of South African

His accent is awful now I'm from England, and it's so one minute American then next British if you're going for a stereotypical British accent , but its hurting my ears 😬

He's from Newcastle. He has to tone down his accent for American audiences. Especially after what happened with Cheryl Cole.

I don't like his show. I don't think he is funny. I think male host are cocky, laugh at their own jokes & always interrupt their guest while they are talking. She actually let's him finish a sentence. Jimmy would have never let him finish those stories & made it about him.

Also, Google Herschel Walker's work out, he's almost 60, and still does 2-3000 push-ups and sit-ups a day. You just have to start at it. I could barely do 10 push-ups when I started, now I can do 100, no problem.
