The same error appeared today. I went through all of the steps . The settings were already set the way you advised so I just went through and when I hit ok the last time it restarted and was fine. ? Is that strange?

When i go to boot, it doesn't say "UEFI" or anything at all besides "enable" to the right, and the list to the left is just 1 item, "Windows boot enabler". What should i do?

Oh my god, thank you! My computer broke, the old Mac(2009) a friend gifted me didn't work for what I needed it for and I decided to take another look at my old laptop and see if I can fix it. AND HOLY MOLLY IT WOKRED!! HAHAHA

@@micahmccool3054 In my case, it was the broken SSD. Replaced it, installed Windows, everything is fine now.

You need to set a supervisor password in security, just use “0000”, nothing fancy
