This is essentially the design I came to after much time thinking about the new ACs though with increased complexity due to volume pumps at each stage and a heat exchanger to separate one half of it to be a closed loop. The new ACs aren't as bad as I initially thought they were, though it would still be nice to have more ways to control the AC (like being able to tell it to only pull X pressure per tick instead of it always being 750)
Oh nice, yes it needed quite the iterations of me as well. And I really like how it finally turned out because it is relatively easy to set up. Are you by any chance on the discord? It would be interesting to see how you approached the AC 'puzzle'. Having pumps between each AC was something I heavily tried, but the 'processing' order of the atmospheric devices made it very hard to get right and I gave up on the idea in the end.

I have always wondered about using exhaust gas as a coolant rather than the output. I am sure this has been tried, but can a notional amount of gas be super compressed using volume pumps in insulated pipes, to mass increase temp, then use radiators on that highly compressed gas after a valve (to separate the system) then cool it but maintain a relatively high pressure, then decompress, I assume in a large tank or massively long pipe system. I think there are issues with the decompression here to make your own very large AC unit.
Stationeers does not increase the temperature if you compress gas. The other way around (so more temp more pressure) is part of the game loop. I think they thought about it, but this would need a massive refactoring to the current systems. I'm pretty sure if it would be implemented a lot of real life applications could be made and your example would certainly be possible.

Ich denke wenn du dir die ersten 5-10 min anschaust und einfach nachbaust sollte das schon klappen und der code ist auch nicht sooo :) wild.

I can see you being a robot most of the time so I'm wondering how do I trade with robot when the 5th slot is battery and not the uniform?
I think you can hold a card in your hand and it counts as valid payment. But I have not tested this.
