Thank you for this informative step-by-step guide on making a high-quality dishwashing liquid. I'd like to ask lang po, malaki ba ang effect the pH sa lapot ng mixture? And if so, in what pH can I maximize yung viscosity ng mixture, while still maintaining yung cleansing properties of the active ingredients? (You mentioned po kasi sa video na mas better ang cleansing ability ng dishwashing liquid sa basic medium, pero you also suggested an ideal pH of 6.5-7.) Correct me nalang po, if I misunderstood and misquote anything. But, I really appreaciate po you making this video. Thumbs up po!!

Mr. TC, thanks for the video. I called up sogomi, ordered a small scale set of chemicals you used but they don't have SLS at the moment. Any substitute po?
In case I found SLS from other companies, how would i know if it's good quality?
Ask ko lang sir, how to know if the salt is enough. Malapot sya for the first 1-3 days then it loses the viscosity after the succeeding days. Nakakaapekto rin ba sa viscosity kung kulang ng preservatives?
you need to make trial and error until you finally find the exact dosage of salt. Viscosity is very tricky and if affected by many factors like water quality, and most importantly quality of the surfactants and bubble enhancer you use. i strongly urge you to buy raw materials at sogomi corp since we have tested their raw materials. viscosity has nothing to so with preservatives, unless there is big effect on the pH by the preservative. Use Acnibio MXR instead since very stable

1/ You should use EDTA. 2/ You can use double the amount of SLES (instead of SLS). 3/ Glycerin: because it keeps the hands moist

sir, once nagreverse ang effect ng salt... pwede po ba 50% ng rejected plus 50% new then add salt after..? so, let us say 6 liters of rejected soap and 6 liters of water then compute the ingredients according s per liter ng rejected subtracted from ingredients ng new to complete the chemical ng new 12 liters... thanks po s reply...
in troubleshooting.. excess salt... make new batch. dont add salt.. add rejected batch... add small anounts of salt if need more viscosity

I'm planning to do this kind of business, but wala pa akong mga equipment like Yong timbangan, Yong gina gamit sa pagkuha ng pH level, may mga naka packed na po ba kayo for large production Yong tupong pag dating dito sa akin no need to measures na? Like for example I'm planning to make 20liters of dishwashing liquid, bali e mix ko nalang siya oag dating dito sa akin no need to measures na ako at no need na ako mag kuha ng pH level niya. How can I make it more viscous? Does adding more salt will break the thickness?
adding more salt will reverse the viscosity... when you want more viscous, add more surfactant. then you can increase the amount of salt

In addition i make my own liquid dishwashing for house.use only.... here are the ingredients and procedure
I mixed SLES and Lab Salt (until pure.white) then I add hot water. Add STPP then LABS, then foam booster 1 and 2, then NP10 then antibac and lastly colour and scent....
However, when I add NP10 biglang labnaw....as in parang tubig....
Tama ang ingre and procedure.... Or do I need to remove liquid NP10?

I mixed first 500grams of SLES and 75grams of Lab Salt until it becomes pure white then I add 3liters hot water until the mixture dissolves. Then add the remaining 2.5liters of water (room temperature)... Then I add 50grams of STPP(dissolve in 450ml of hot water).. Add 75ml of CDEA and 75ml of COCO.....
Then I add 6grams of colouring (dissolve already in 50ml hot water) then the 20ml of scent.....
Medyo malapot malapot na siya dyan.
But when I add the NP10(Tergitol)-"pampaalis ng sebo" and the remaining Lab salt (gradually)...it looses its viscosity....parang tubig.nlng....
