- After a month-long vacation in America I came back to Thailand and immediately got lost in Bangkok. Yes, I am back to my home in Bangkok, Thailand and this was my first day back in the country after being away for almost one month. Today I will take you to an area I have not explored. Join me as we come across a morning food market and get a glimpse of all the food items available for sale. Of course I had to grab a quick bite before moving on to explore the rest of this area. Monsoon season is upon us and fortunately I had an umbrella with me, as it started to rain very hard. I wandered around several neighborhoods, of course got lost a few times, and just had a great time being back to the country that has been my home for the last 2+ years.

In March 2024 I appreciated a lot my last vacation in Thailand, Udom Suk Market Area is one of my favorite place to have breakfast almost everyday just before i take a walk to discovert bangkok streets and enjoy good food with many great people thai!!! Great to see you back at home Serg!!!!

The market you went through has only been renovated/updated recently. (Only a few years). We loved the charm of the original market, but this one has more options.

Down my neck of the woods there Serg . 103 had a wonder around there a few times . I found the wet market and told my wife and even her family were surprised 😂😂. It’s great walking in back streets away from the hustle and bustle of Sukhumvit. Great vlog 👏👏

If you really do come to Khon kaen (where I live) we might meet for a short while if the situation favours it. Lots of coffee shops, cafe & restaurants, Mu kratha (skillet pork or bbq pork pan), and bars.

Hi Serg! Welcome back to Bangkok. I've already booked my condo and airline ticket from SoCal to Thailand for the entire month of October! I'll be staying in the Nonthaburi area near my cousin. The prices there are more reasonable because it's not a tourist area, lots more locals living there.

If you can eat beef, then you should try beef sa te (สะเต๊ะเนื้อ). The very famous ones for beef sa te are in the province of Ayutthaya.

From what I see I believe you were somewhere aroung หมู่บ้านจัดสรรโรงงานยาสูบ around Bangna area. It has nothing much to do with Tobacco. Only that the community was built as a housing welfare project for tobacco factory workers. By the way, welcome back! A new (Thai) follower here. 😊

That the bus terminal we get on the way n couple people get on when we are 30 -35 mins out of ekamai ..I know because I have taken that bus 3 times 😂

I really like Thailand in the rainy season because the air is fresh. Everywhere you look, there are only green and blue colors that are easy on the eyes. If you like forests and countryside, it is a period that is full of life.

Hello Serg!!! First of all, it's nice to see you back walking the BKK streets again. On another note, concerning your walking tours of the city (or really anywhere), you might want to do a little research about the neighborhood first so we can get a feel for it. Two examples of vloggers that do research before exploring an area is Bangkok Pat, OTR, and Mark Weins. Bangkok Pat usually knows deep history of areas he visits, and so does OTR, to a lesser extent. While Pat looks at purely the history of the place, OTR provides background to set up for the food which is in the area, and which is really his main subject. Mark usually provides a short snap shot of the area so viewers understand a little bit about where he is and why. By the way, its great to know you'll be visiting Khao Yai. There's lots to do there. Khao Yai is known to Thais for the many mockups of European style villages (real houses, shops etc.) that sell to buyers to live there in style. It is also known for great cool weather of mid to high twenties most of the year (Dec-Feb can be cold- around 12-17 celcius) and let's not forget the strong (will make your hat fly but not you though) mountain winds. My favorite are the fancy European style buildings and landscapes for restaurants and eateries. They make me feel like I'm back in Paris France doing my Bachelor's Degree. Have a great time Serg!!!

As for comparing me to Bangkok Pat or OTR or Mark Wiens, I’m not interested in making that kind of content. I like to go into areas I know nothing about and just wander around and see what I can find. My viewers seem to enjoy that as well. Pat makes wonderful curated videos about Bangkok. I’m not striving for that, in any way.
