@chasecarter8848 the most intelligent a cat could possibly be is the equal of the dumbest dog and even then I give the edge to the dog. Why do people have so many cats? That was a wild scene with the cats climbing the walls looks like a bunch of rats. I don't think the ones that stood still were observing most likely just froze up. I've pulled into driveways with a cat sitting there and have to be sure that the rear of my car isn't in the street I'm pulling in slowly because the cat hasn't moved and I don't want to blow the horn for obvious reasons just like when they freeze running out in the street or when they're fighting whether playing or not one will start to lick itself lol. There's nothing wrong with liking cats even though they're not smart. They're known for not being very intelligent only cat lovers feel the need to defend them and compare them to dogs. Dog lovers name all the good qualities that dogs possess without having to mention cats at all while cat lovers do things like take loyalty a great trait to have literally could never be bad even when you're loyal to a fault and tell you why cats attack you until you've earned their trust when really you just became their personal scratching post/ chew toy (human punching bag) while feeding them, cleaning up after them, raised money to heal their injuries and now they let you touch them not what I'd call intelligence maybe a lack on the persons side. I don't think people would tolerate all that from a larger animal just to get the cat where a person will tolerate it enough to care for it just because it can't kill them. Big cats and domestic cats have the same temperament so what makes them good pets and not the other? Lol

People just shouldn't have cats. If you move that stresses them, putting them in a carrier stresses them, car rides stress them, vet visits stress them, getting another cat stresses them (yet people say you can't have just one), having closed doors stresses them, anything where they don't feel in control stresses them. When people "rescue" them and keep them in a cage forcing them to get used to human touch stresses them but none of you have a problem with that. Declawing is inhumane but spaying and neutering them isn't for some reason even though any man would rather lose a finger than his balls. People make videos that are hilarious where it may have caused the other person a little stress but no one would ever say they're A terrible person. They say stress kills cats here's Breaking news stress can cause cancer and give a person a heart attack. It's not funny or ok when a cat hits a baby if it's not funny the other way around. I think it's cruel to have a territorial cat living with a dog because the dog knows he can't defend himself and they know the owner thinks its funny when the cat hits the dog or will be in attack mode if the dog tries to walk past it but the minute the dog clamps onto the cat it's no longer funny. The cat can stress the dog because of instinct but if the dog kills the cat that's making it's life miserable it's a savage or something is wrong with it no it eliminated the aggressor just because people think its funny the dog doesn't and it did exactly what it was designed to do. Cats kill but people think an invasive species should be protected from larger predators killing them. Just like cats killing mice are good dogs killing overpopulated cats is a good thing.

21:07. My cat has one of those water dishes and he does the same thing with it. It's the water moving and bubbling in the tank that fascinates them. I finally had to put it into a tray so we don't have puddles of water all over the floor all the time.
My cats do the exact same thing, was kinda cute when my first was a kitten, now that he's a big cat weighing a lean 15 pounds slamming into it at mach 3 spilling water everywhere, its not as fun to watch anymore...
Idk why cats are so revered for being clean yeah they spend all day licking themselves but all they do is make a mess. They cough up a hairball and just walk away they never make any attempt to clean up after themselves. I'd love for some cat owners to show their house after idk a few days or a week without cleaning up after their cat and show what it looks like.
@herrowen why do cats still have the same destructive behaviors years later? Seems like they just break your will. People think it's wrong to rehome a cat after years of the same problems like getting fed up with people is ok but not a cat no matter how much money they have cost you. Natural hunters but cruel for them to live outdoors where last I checked all animals live. Why is there so much sympathy for a species that causes so much death like they are a real problem when it comes to the ecosystem yet people want to protect the one causing the extinction of so many important species. Clearly you should love your pet but resources going to medical bills for strays when kids are homeless and good people I mean a cat can't be homeless they belong outside they just don't belong in places other than their natural environment. All the endangered big cats maintain balance in their ecosystem but all these man made breeds have the opposite effect. Never has controlling an invasive species by getting their population under control been so ignored. Euthanizing them to restore balance so life can thrive is more important than people thinking cats are cute. When our country starts looking like Fallout are people going to find comfort in all the cats running around hissing

6:25 Washing machines should stop automatically when the lid is open. Top loading washing machines here in New Zealand, have a safety mechanism. When you open the lid, the water will stop running into the machine.

@@abatefaria9674 You might be talking about the front loaders. The top loaders you can open them they stop automatically. We’ve never used A front loader, my sister said they chew up the clothes.
Opposite -- the water runs when the lid is open and stops when the water level is reached. It won't run till you shut the lid.

@@MissyQ12345 We have a brand-new washing machine this years model. When you open the lid, the water will stop running into the machine. To start the water going again, you push start/pause. All the washing machines that we’ve had when you open the lid the water stops. Obviously the ones here in New Zealand have a safety mechanism built in.

I'd argue that dogs are far dumber than cats, one example is that they bark at everything that moves or makes a noise, another is that male dogs will hump anything that moves. XD
That's because you're stupid. Can a cat make it possible for a blind person to navigate the world? I guess it's because they're independent and choose not to it has nothing to do with the fact that they're so dumb they fall over when you put a leash or even a piece of freaking paper on their back. They have tried to train cats for important tasks and they fail miserably every time but it's because they're independent they're so independent they can't even survive 5 years on the streets but refuse to die when they are house cats. They lick everything that moves and try to kill everything that moves. Cats existence is so miserable the males have barbs on their little peckers and the female gives it up but as soon as he gets off they try to kill him they don't know it's just a natural reaction and then they forget about it. No baths easier to be caught by predators, litter box, food bowl have to feel safe while eating because a predator could sneak up on them they've never been outside never seen a predator in the house but at 15 years old they still haven't realized there's no threat. If they're A maniac at the vet they will always be because they don't recognize there's no danger and they can't be calmed down naturally gotta drug em. Dogs trust you so they will trust the doctor because of you. Dogs not only understand why you're upset they know the things you don't want the cat to do but the cat can't figure it out because they're so smart lol. Fuck how you feel just because you like cats doesn't make them smart.

When I had my dogs, I would call them stupid, crazy, disloyal, bad, etc - affectionately. The only "bad" word they actually knew was "no". My dogs were great.
They have poor sight up close and different hearing than us so people assume they're dumb. Yet they con us into giving them shelter, food, water, comfort, and protection. You hear that meowing? Adult cats don't meow to each other, it's on a frequency closer to human children. It's a trick to get your attention. They're not stupid; they're predators. Hopefully you're part of their family.
