Forget about accreditation,ugc etc. Is that skills going to help for freelancing or opensource. The pace at which skills are getting outdated in market and traffic congestion in cities making hindrence to attend classrooms , goverment being so uncaring in this matter despite hogging taxes, this is the only feasible option !

I was hoping to join it, because I was able to convince my college to finally accept foreign credits. Do you get a marksheet in addition to the diplomas? My main motivation was to transfer in the credits so that it can supplement the research I am currently focusing on: which involves heavy data scrapping of the human genome. This way it leaves a lot of room for more bio courses at my current university as well
Plus it’s cheaper to get the credits from outside.. and iit is kinda better than a community college credit lol

I'm doing Advanced certification in data science from intellipath IIT Roorkee online course... And they are charging 65k ... Course duration is 7 months but u will get life time access... 3 guaranteed interview and you will have access to intellipath job portal which is private..

Don’t apply now, you have to submit assignments, have to give 20 hours per week, then exams are too their, you will loose your time. Focus on one thing do these after your 12th. Rest is your choice. Fees is about 3 lacs so think wisely

To be honest, it might seem that the only cons is boring lectures...no my dear frnds , the pressure is quite high specially if you are doing this as a second degree.
1.Maintaining a good cgpa is quite difficult as it requires attention every week.
2. One week you might be sick, an offline clg prof might excuse you for the assignment deadline but here there's no such case.
3.Sustaining in the program is quite hard since the thing becomes quite difficult diploma onwards. No wonder only 18 people all over india completed the BS level !
4.Also, you should love studying alone and not be someone who loves to enjoy with friends or group study or something since this degree is quite challenging. It demands you to sit on your own WITH YOUR OWN MOTIVATION and do the tasks regularly.
5. And yes when u feel u dont understand a topic,its very hard to get it cleared since u can't directly contact the prof or any teaching assitant.
IF you overcome all these,yes YOU DESERVE to be an IITian which IIT M has rightly acknowledged.
Sheer determination and hardwork and dedication is all what an IITian is about!!

It is Showing me 4 courses Statistics, Maths , Computational thinking, English but when I'm taping on the course it says to login through Google
And when I login through Google it is redirecting to me on my dashboard 😢

As well as only easy paper was the qualifier one difficulty increase gradually
And for your information there are only 295 students in bsc level so far

Do no fall for online courses, these are not good. Look back and think, why you did not like studying from home, why inline wducation failed. Meeting professors and peers is a crucial part of learning. These courses are just to make quick money.
Jo log krna chahte h, data science padhna chahte h unko demotivate mat kr. Ye course valuable h... pata nhi h toh mat bol...baaki online course ho skta h utne achhe nhi ho. Par ye IIT ka course h, aur professors bhi achhe h.
Ye course college life dene k liye nhi h, 17 to 60+ umr k log enroll hote...flexibility honi chahiye...phir bhi fests and certification ceremony hoti h.
