  • A report written by Twaweza organization shows that 80 percent of Ugandans have felt the impact of climate change, which has led to low crop production, human diseases, and poverty among other ramifications. The report, which focused on the citizen’s opinions and experiences of the climate crisis, also shows that the most affected areas are Northern and Eastern Uganda. Marie Nanyanzi, the Senior Program officer Twaweza East Africa said that more than half of the people interviewed indicated that it is not too late to mitigate the adverse effects of climate change.
