With everything going on in the world now, it’s a welcome break watching your videos and hearing your soothing voice. I also like your style of decorating with antiques.
What a happy arrangement! I love the daffodils with the blue. I love your sun room and the uncovering of the beautiful wood framed window. You have a gift for making your house a home! 34:40 34:40 34:40 34:41
I've been watching for a few months now and really enjoy the creativity you have with floral arranging. I have never stripped a door or window but have stripped many a furniture piece. Your sunroom turned out lovely and I'm sure you will have many mornings enjoying that sunlight. On the color for your living wall, my first thought was a dusty lavender shade. With the curtains it reminds me of shades of dried lavender. If you are planning on using all that wonderful blue and white ware you found. The dusty lavender would be a nice compliment along with all your other greens and golds you have scattered around. Thank you. for an enjoyable video. Diane
That was absolutely beautiful. I have 2 teapots and they just sit in the cupboard, now I know what to do with them. Again, thank you Bev.
Loving Your Stained door & window frame. This year, my paint will be just a hint of green, no yellow hint to it. But whatever color of Paint You choose for Your Walls will look great with Your Furniture and decor. I'm looking forward to seeing all Your Spring and Summer Cottage .❤ Nancy 😊
always love when you share your stories!!!!
I love your videos! You have such a sweet peaceful voice. You and I have the same taste in decor. Thank you!
The stain was such a great match to the original and really made the window and door stand out. The daffodils always remind me of my grandmother, and I like the way you take us through your thought processes of changes you make as you are creating. Beautiful!
Thank you❤️! Excited to see how the stain looks with the clear coat.
Beverly Happy Sunday, I love that you removed the paint from the door & window. That stained wood is such a warm ,rich, beautiful color. Removing the built in shelves is so smart. It allows more light into the living room and makes the room look & feel bigger. Being able in see into the sun room allows the eye to continue the view.I love your sweet magical cottage & just when I think it can’t get any better, you work your magic. I truly feel inspired each time I watch and anxiously look forward to your next video. Take care until next time ❤God bless.😊
Thank you❤️! Many Blessings!🌷😘🌷
You are so talented…thank you for sharing 💐
Somewhere in your sunroom is the perfect color for your wall.
For my way of deciding I would pull a color from possibly your rock wall that compliment the yellow wall, accessories, furniture, and your mood wall.
My mind goes to rock wall or green chest or the rabbit pillow although you don’t see the pillow from living room. The rock wall and the chest has complimentary colors to choose from. Maybe hold a mood wall chip up to those pieces and a color will come out that u love?
There are many complimentary colors to choose from in that wall!
My 2 cents worth.❤️
Love your plant ideals. Your give us such fabulous ideas on how to decorate our homes.
Thanks so much 😊
If you love ❤ the yellow sunroom, how about add white to the original color it would lighten it or add a bit of black darken it. Also if you change the flat or chalk paint to satin or gloss that will change it up . I've wanted to do a room like that for awhile. Same color different shine levels, that would be a bit of fun. Your drapes are beautiful. Xx
Oh Bev you completely made my day. Nothing puts a bigger smile on my face or imparts a sense of joy, calmness, and peace than a daffodil. They have been my favorite flower since childhood. Thank you. The door and window look amazing. The transformation of the living room is going to be so wonderful.
Beautiful!! I love the idea of the green color you showed for the wall but just a little lighter so not too heavy😊
Thank you, Pam!🌷
I like the green or a dark taupe❤
Bev, there’s only one Tree, in the garden like you!! That Tree demands attention. tfs blessings my dear 🥰👵🏽🙏🏾
You are always so kind, Carrie❤️!
Paint color to replace the gray... a soft milk chocolate brown might not go great with yellow, however a plum-ish taupe could be the right pairing. xo
I TOTALLY ADMIRE Your PATIENCE when you work on removing the old stains and paints and then redoing whatever it is you are making 'new'" !! I don't have that .. I can work on a floral arrangement for whatever it takes to make it look exactly like I want but have to hire the painting jobs !! It will be fun to see what color you choose for the walls ,, I LOVE the drapery's .. LOVELY !!! Looking forward to the next video !!
Look at Navaho cream- it is one of my favorite “rich” amazing colors. It will bring out the detail in your fab curtains
Thank you so much!❤️
If you like a color for your wall and don’t have the natural light for it to show as the sample think of reducing it’s strength by 50% to start. I usually start at 50 and reduce from there. We’re in the middle of a remodel and refresh in our 20 year old English cottage home and yellow, green and blue are my choices as well. TYFS❤
Great job ! Can’t wait to see more 💐🌺🌷❤️🐇🌸
Thank you, Jeanie!🌷🐇🌷
Absolutely gorgeous
Laura Weaver. The door and window look wonderful. I have seen a lot of videos on farmhouse country, but I love color, I am so happy I found you. I love how you show and explain what you are doing and why when you put a vignette together. Are you a interior designer by trade or just gifted? Today is my first day off and I am binge watching your videos. Have blessed day.
Looks fabulous, so creative! I would love to be put on the Swedish Ivy list to purchase. I live in south Florida and can’t find any to buy. Yours looks so beautiful and seems to grow like a weed! Thanks and sooo happy you are back!
Soft green!
Beautiful!!
That citrus stuff is amazing! The stain looks amazing...the way you come up with plans are totally game changing Fly. You have a gift and I am so honored that you share it with us! Oh and the planters you created are gorgeous! I love what you do Bev. May our Father in heaven bless you and yours. :)
Thank you, Cindy❤️! The stain really offers a a feeling of comfort in this room. Excited to put the paint on the walls. Have a Blessed weekend!🌷😘🌷
A joy to watch🌟🌼
Love your videos
So pretty!💐
A bunny would look cute in the middle of your arrangement, too. Also, it's nice that you can plant the bulbs and pansies in your garden when they have finished blooming inside. Very pretty!
Magical moments.....❤
Love this planting idea! So sweet and so cottage ❤
An enjoyable watch. Thank you!
Oh Bev,you make everything look so beautiful!
Beautiful ❤
Love the flowers x
So beautiful.
I love the middle stain too.
Loved everything especially your plantings!!!!!! So beautiful 💙🤍
Very nice results !!!☘
I agree with you on the Thicket color. Whatever you choose there is no doubt in my mind , it will be beautiful. I love those curtains.
Flowers are sooooo beautiful. Great job on the staining too! Looks great.
Loved the plantings. Sure wish I had your energy & creativity!
Love how the stain turned out. watching you plant was so refreshing, as you were planting them I could see the items come to life in an Alice and Wonderland story. The colors compliment each other. I always tell my husband that I had so many interruptions while doing a project. He says, what interruption your home by yourself. 😂 Well, we have 2 G.S. dogs and 1 little Shih Tzu's/Maltese and they are the most spoiled fur babies you have ever seen. It's outside, 10 min. then inside, then a treat, a carrot, a chicken chew, and a bone. Then a toy went under the couch, then the little one wants to take a nap on the bed away from the other too. She's too small to jump. It's worse than raising my 3 children . 🤣🤣 So with all that in my yapping, I truly understand what you mean 😊
I loved watching your flower arranging! So pretty... do you talk to your plants? I remember my mom telling a Creeping Charlie, "If you don't grow, I'm gonna make a salad out of you!" haha! It grew... it had no choice!
Luv the flowers ❤
Thank you!🌷
Watching you get your fingers in the dirt planting warms my heart. So creative. Beautiful creation Bev!❤
Beverly. You do such a great job decorating and styling your home. Everything looks so beautiful. It all works and looks so lovely together. Thank you for your inspiration.
Loved the plantings in the vintage vessels. So sweet!!!! Cannot wait to see your mood wall vine yo life. The door and window redo is stunning too💕
Stain looks great. Love the plants and daffodils in the blue and white. Ramona,
Another marvelous video! Your sense of style is just impeccable. I adore all you do. ❤
Bev that green was the perfect color. ❤
You unearthed a treasure behind that bookshelf, Bev. The door and window look absolutely charming. I can’t wait to see what paint color you choose to bring the whole look together. The darling spring plants are perfectly magical. I have three different MacKenzie-Childs teapots that would look lovely in that arrangement - even has a brass bird on top! Have a blessed week and don’t work too hard. 🥰🌷🙏🏻
Thank you , Darla❤️! Yes, your teapots would add the perfect kiss of whimsy😊.
Awesome! As always.
Thank you!🌷
Beautiful
Thank you, Debbie!🌷
Wow love the stain! What a job! But turned out beautiful! The blue and white and plants are so pretty! I can’t believe all you’ve done and continue to do! Such a talented designer and you share with us!🥳🐰🥵🌺💐
Thanks so much, Faye❤️! I am so thankful to have a platform where we can all come together for adventures. 🌷😘🌷
@@TheLittleBlueFly Me too Bev cuz you give me so many ideas although I need to pare down some! Just can’t seem too cuz I love decor so much but thank you for sharing!🥰
Love the stain color so rich and warm. Love the idea of putting plants in chipped tea cups or even bowls never thought about the copper kettles tho I like that to. Thank you for sharing. 😊❤
Bev, you always choose the most amazing color combinations! I love the blue and white china also. I have old Blue Willow with a red and blue color scheme because I live in a cabin and the bright colors make it more cheerful. I love the stain also.❤
Thank you Bev for another informative and interesting video. You must have a lot of patientce to persevere with these projects. Your sunroom already looks beautiful, I can't wait to see the finished product. Blessings💞💞💞
Hi Bev. Here in Australia the Autumn leaves are just starting to fall, my favourite time of year but I've got to say that is lovely to see your Spring bulbs bursting into colour. I've also collected some blue & white ware and it really does make a difference to the décor of a room as does a few items featuring adorable rabbits.
The stain is soo warm and beautiful. It looks original and has it’s on personality making the room even more inviting.
In a similar situation for a new paint color for my dining room - after much debate - I chose perfect griege and it’s just beautiful.
Very pretty and SPRINGing forward. 😊
Love the containers of te cups and beautiful bowl with the copper tea kettle.
My put on a color of choice is blue, yellow and blue go great together.
That's my recommendation. 😊
The arrangements are gorgeous! I don’t believe the stain could have been a closer match!
Looking fab, ,Bev. And the plantings and containers shout spring and a new beginning. So cozy in the blue and white, which I love. Keep your good work coming.🤗😊
Thanks so much, Linda❤️! Have a wonderful weekend!🌷😘🌷
Bev✋
So pretty 😊🦋
Match the paint color for the walls with the lighter color in your curtains.
You have such an artists eye ❤️. Were you a florist at one time in your life? You do such beautiful work !
Actually liking the floor tiles! Have you thought of old school nursery catalogs for inexpensive trees?
❤❤❤❤❤
❤
I think the same color as your cabinet on the outside wall of your sunroom would be perfect for your living room wall
Thank you, Debbie! I just love working with all these different color…even if they make my brain swim.🌷
Go with a lighter shade of the green you like I would say no to the gray unless it had a greenish tint to it.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hello Bev. Everything you do is amazing, and I do enjoy your style. I, on the other hand, am on the opposite end of the color scheme. I am a cool color decorator. I do decorate with a lot of blue and white. I lean to French country. I do copy as much of your style as my talents allow. Unfortunately, that doesn't in any way compare to
your creativity. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to your vedios.
I grew up calling the Swedish ivy “Creeping Charlie”. I don’t know where that name came from ??? 💕
You have totally inspired me to get planting! I love what you’ve done with your blue and white vessels!
Omg, so beautiful Beverly. I struggle with inside plants in this house because it does not get too much light. Any suggestions? I don’t have a problem with the outside. I even planted citrus trees in my back yard. I love live plants. Hugs
As always, I have enjoyed todays goings on. I would like to know the name of the blue bullbs you planted in the larger dish? The music you played today was delightful. What is the name of the music, please?
Also searching & scrolling for the name of the blue bulbs. My 1st time seeing them. Very pretty.
Love the plantings!!! Here's a technique I like to use that I learned in art school: Talk to the "paint person" behind the counter, and ask them to locate your sun room color on their "Fan Deck". (They do not let these out of their sight!) You will see the same color on the strip, going from light to saturated, depending on how much white or black is added.
So I would try the palest shade, (the one at the top of the strip) for the mood wall. It will "almost" read white, but what it does is visually pull the color forward from the sunroom. It all works together.
I would see if you can get a little sample container, and paint a couple of samples on the mood wall and see how the light plays.
This only works if the sunroom is not the lightest lightest shade, but to my eye, I'm thinking it's not.
I hope this makes sense...😊
Oops...I listened to this a 2nd time and you said you didn't want yellow...Sorry.
🙋♀️❤
You seem pleased to do this slowly and carefully yourself, but I assume you know that you could have taken the door off and had it “dipped”. You most likely would have had to put the glass back in with new glazing putty. You could have dipped the trim as well and reinstalled it.
Is there a link for your new French drapes?
Bev just a question. Are you going to remove the paint from the front windows too? If not the stained window and door May distract from the rest of the room. The painted trim brightens the dim room giving it a more country French feel. Just asking. I love your work and creativity.
Great question, Cynthia! This will be announced in the up coming videos😊.
What is the name of your new music start up?
Please tell me how to order those exact curtains and the color.
You can find these at Horchow.com or Neiman Marcus. Wait for the 30% off sale😊.
How about a toasty grey. I have my living room walls painted toasty grey..
