- Hi guys! I'm so excited for today's video on watercolor flower field/ poppy field. This was surprisingly relaxing to paint and I really enjoyed mixing watercolors with more gouache, for the extra flexibility in fixing mistakes. I personally love this subject matter (maybe not for someone with hayfever O.o" but I hope you guys enjoy painting along! Cheers! ^_^

These are California poppies, their State flower. They are very small compared to most poppies. The desert in bloom like this is rather rare. I grew up in the Mojave desert near Antelope Valley. Thank you for this beautiful landscape so near my home! 🤗

Just finished trying this tutorial. The background part turned out quite good but I terribly messed-up with the front part, need more and more practice.
Throughout the process, I learnt so many things. I must say, you PUT lots of effort to make every painting magical💖
Oh that's okay, I also made a few tries for this one. The best thing is you got to learn through out the process, which is a great take away though the end product might not be our best. Wish you the best for your future paintings, and let's keep learning together ^_^
