I'm not the biggest fan of sweet perfumes but lately I've been loving JPG Classique Essence de Parfum. The whipped cream combined with the vanilla and peach blossom notes is just heaven to my nose ❤️❤️❤️

I love La Vie Est Belle Eclat. I soooo love it that I don’t use it just on an ordinary day coz I don’t want to run out of it. The sweetness of it uplifts my mood. It’s never cloying and it makes me sniff myself more and more ♥️
Love this list! I adore Decadence and girl of now has been on my wish list 🥰. I also own the l’elcat version of la vie es Belle. Interested in Killian Love now, will check it out.

Good choice, I also like angel muse but I didn’t Declutter it.. maybe prematurely. I hadn’t given it a chance in winter, I wasn’t sure about the patchouli in it.
I bought the biggest bottle of tender romance I love it that much and just bought l’clat la vie est Belle the other day I will be using that one a lot.

La Vie est Belle Intensement is the only LVEB i like it’s like raspberry marshmallows to me ☺️
I agree that there is a mature element to Juicy Couture Gold Couture. Despite the fruitiness and gourmand aspects. Definitely more grown up than the others in the Juicy Couture line. Maybe I should get myself one of these... We have very similar taste in perfume. I do prefer more elevated fragrances, but some perfumes just smell good

Gold Couture doesn’t last on me, I had to spray almost 10 sprays to get a good scent. I may be decluttering it soon.
I’ve been really interested in trying Kilian recently. At first Princess sounded amazing but some of the notes are quite scary to me 😂 Love sounds way more up my alley! 💓💗
I also want princess; that one is probably less cloying, probably more mass pleasing I would say. It is really really good!!:)

I have really been wanting to smell La Petite in the blue bottle.
I just bought Juicy Gold Couture .05 ounce to try this past weekend because of you! I am in my 30’s and I get what you say about it being a little juvenile, although I will still get some wear out of it. It reminds me of a night at the bar, when you knew your crush was going to be there and you were on a mission! I also picked up Versace Dylan Blue pour femme and I am on the fence with that one. It is a nice fragrance but there’s something I just don’t love about it. Would love to hear your thoughts on that one! Great, informative content for us gals who like to stay classy!
Totally!!! I agree with your description of gold couture. Yeah Dylan blue is ok but nothing special to me; it smells like nice clean apple shampoo! A great gym scent perhaps:)

btw, I think you should try Zara perfumes. Here in Spain are very popular (love you Amancio Ortega 🇪🇸) They’re very cheap (100ml=9,95€), smell great and they have really good dupes. Guess that bc of your minimalism idea of life (which I really admire ❤️) you’re not into buying lots of perfumes just to try, but for the price and the quality I think it’s worth it.

Bhawini The most long-lasting with the best projection (in my opinion of course) are Violet Blossom (which some people say that it’s a dupe of Armani code and some other say that it smells similar to Girl of now in the drydown) and Red Vanilla (very similar to LVEB).
I also love Gardenia which is a dupe of Black Opium and I think that it’s even better than the YSL one :P.
An option that people really like is Fields at nightfall and it also has good duration and good sillage (they say that it’s a dupe of This is her by Zadig&Voltaire)*UPDATE: this one didn’t work for me AT ALL, couldn’t stand the scent 😓)
Rose Gold is also a pretty good option, girlie and playful, I really recommend this.
Gourmand addict is a perfect and addictive scent but this one doesn’t last at all (less than an hour at least on my skin).
Another one that really work for me is Oriental, which is quite similar to Sì by Armani.
And now there’s two new perfumes that have a lot of hype: A sweet pastry in Paris and Rose Gourmand. I didn’t try any of them, but because of the reviews they seem really good (and I think that soon I’m gonna purchase them 😝). The Rose Gourmand one is a new concept of Zara (UPDATE: it’s a dupe of Roses Vanille by Mancera!). Even better quality and more long-lasting. So... we will have to try them 😀!!

@@bhawinidwivedy So glad that I helped you 😍!! By the way, when I say "long-lasting" I mean "long-lasting in Zara terms". Zara has amazing, elegant and underrated fragrances but let's be clear: the duration is not that good. But... what more can you ask for that price? Not only the scent, the packaging is also adorable 🤩. Besides they have very cheap mini versions (10ml) for carrying in your bag and reapply them when you need it, so the duration it's not even a problem. I think it's reallyyyyy worth it and I think you're gonna love them.

I guess the MJ Decadence bottle was aimed at it living up to its name but tbh ended up being tacky and an overkill. I mean lizard, tussels, green and gold all together??? Too much. The juice though is to die for...but definitely not a blind buy.

When I first smelled YSL Black Opium I immediately thought of Christmas 😄. I swear it smells like a perfume my aunt would wear in the cold weather. Shout out to aunt Sheila for getting me interested in fragrances in the first place. I have a specific image in my mind when I think of black opium: it's Christmas day and we have a big family gathering and my aunt gives me a hug. I walk away smelling like her perfume. I know I'm rambling at this point...but that's the kind of perfume I like. The kind that stays with people after they hug you lol. Or when you spend the night with your man and the next day he's hugging and smelling the pillow 😄
It’s so funny how scents create smell memories for us or make us feel a certain way. That’s one of the things I love about fragrances:)

Yes I tried to do them in order of least to most sweet but this of course is a matter of opinion 😊. I find decadence sweeter than Girl of Now, I’m sure not everyone would agree.:)
Really, I need to smell Decadence again as it was so strong and was straight up floral for me
Makes me sneeze! Edit:looked up the note and it has amber in it and plum which may give it a sweet note I guess. But it's the first I'm seening anyone refer to Decadence as sweet. Will try to see if i can smell it again.

Hello, so I am kind of in between getting either la belle by JPG or girl of now but I’m not sure which one I would like better, I like sweet but not too sweet, I’m just kind of starting out with gourmand scents . Which one would you prefer??
I would recommend La Belle between those two because la Belle is not too crazy sweet and it is unique, better performance than girl of now as well.

The original Carolina Herrera is. Very sweet
When I smelled La vie est belle Intensément on paper I loved it !! But when I tried it on my skin it was another story.. the fruity top note disapear and you are left with sickeningly sweet bad quality smelling perfume .. Am I the only one who had this experience ? Oh and I love sweet perfume !
Same for me. On my skin it smelled like a fruity hairspray. Was really bad. Thought I’d love it, but it didn’t work with my skin chemistry.

Just got a love by Kilian decant and I found it way too sweet. I can’t even smell the florals in there
you're right it is super sweet - I think the florals round it out and give the caramel and sugar a spin that isn't in other similar fragrances. It's mostly sweet caramel vanilla and sugar but it's like you got those items from a flower shop instead of a bakery if that makes any sense lol - thats how my mind sort of interprets it.
I love the Girl of Now bottle so much...sadly, do not really care for the fragrance. It's just too much and gives me allergies!
