FAMILIES NEED HELP AFTER A SHOOTING:
When news and headlines following an act of gun violence fade away... Who is left? THE FAMILIES! Although our country struggles to agree on a long-term solution to gun violence, we can ALL agree on one thing... Any family suffering a loss as a result of gun violence needs our support!
It's time to shift the focus to the families left in the aftermath of a shooting... not on the politics, the shooter or the ongoing gun rights debate. What if we helped these families through the most horrific time of their lives? What if we came together as a community to lift them up?
Has anyone ever really wondered what happens to these families after a shooting incident? Our Foundation sees the aftermath and hardships facing these families on a daily basis. Some of their challenges and experiences may include:
• Grief
• Depression
• Isolation
• Loss of Income/Debt
• Foreclosure
• Stress
• Health issues
• Suicidal Thoughts
• Family Strife
• Legal Issues
• Substance Abuse
Help us advocate for these families by getting involved today. Every dollar raised goes directly to a family in need, following a shooting. We work directly with county officials, community foundations and victims advocate agencies affiliated with a District Attorney's office to give immediate funding, often within 24 to 72 hours following an incident.

The shooting that happened in El Paso this weekend is my hometown so this resonates with me on a certain level. I’m sorry that some are never able to heal because they end up actually losing loved ones. It’s great that Christina’s name is being used for a good cause ♥️

@Mateus Costa I'm not as religious as I once was. When I was her age, I was super religious. Now I just believe in doing good and she did that 1 million times over.
I only hope I have the courage to do the same. If I use my life in a way that pushes the world forward, I can live without regrets.
I'm happy Christina was a great example of giving to her frands, and family but also to charities, and of her time. She is missed not forgotten.

Oh god, I just cannot watch ANYTHING on this channel anymore. I end up in tears every time. All I can think about was how she seemed like such a beautiful person and how much pain her family must still be in. She was so young. I'm a parent, and every time someone this young has their life taken like this, all I can think about how much their parents must be hurting. You are not supposed to outlive your children, and it's every parents worst nightmare for their child to go before them. I don't think I could survive losing one of my kids.

I hate when people say that politics shouldn't be brought into mass shootings when the only thing that can prevent these shootings is a change in policy.
Speaking about it shows how strong they are. I am truly proud of all of them. My prayers go out to everyone who was at a shooting (and maybe even survived it)
I think about this every day and that's why I donated in Christina name to help the families ..her brother.. obviously traumatized... I can't even imagine the level of Despair he must feel
