Who is Hank? ("Hank is bringing down the rain") When he said that, I wondered how he knew about "Kissing Hank's Ass" (Hank is a metaphor for God) since the Internet didn't exist for the general public in those days. So I figured there must be a band with a singer named Hank and the rain started when he was singing. If you know who Hank is, tell me please.
I don't know who this Chris Connelly is, but just saying, i think it was pretty slack to not acknowledge Shannon's comment about him seeing people he knew from he is home town while he was on stage. Cos seeing something like that as a performer would've been pretty cool.
You've just pointed out that he wasn't tripping on acid. Why do middle school kids love acting like they're drunk, or pointing out that others are drunk and stoned like it's something to be overly glorified. "Duuuude, he's so stoned!!!" OK, if he is so what why does that give you joy (you being in general). And most likely they're not stoned anyway, they probably do that when they're not on stage. The ones in control like Hoon was (on stage)
They were both on acid......That would have been trippy to look out into the audience while youre peaking on acid and notice someone from your home town.
This just shows how terrible most interviewers are. Shannon gave him a perfect opportunity to have a real and meaningful conversation about seeing a person from his hometown in the crowd. But instead, the interviewer just ignored what he said and moved on to the next question on his list.
Kennedy.. I can't argue with that, she was ANNOYING! OMG. But I feel like others are too hard on other people that interview for the sake of being hard on them. One of the guitar players from Anthrax, the bald one with the chin beard, has interviewed singers before and it was just as painful to watch. Kurt Loder was even painful to watch. Interviewing people is a difficult thing to do gracefully.
Aparently Shannon Hoon had relapsed before going onstage and took acid, so during this interview he was under the influence. And you can tell during the show. What a performer, RIPHOON
Wes Waters relapsed on acid? Come on you can’t compare acid to heroin and coke. Psychedelics are extremely different. Free your mind rather than escape it
i expect people not to believe me, but the person he saw in the crowd was probably my dad. shannon is from lafayette, indiana and my dad said he was pretty close to the stage when he saw blind melon at woodstock. they werent great friends or anything but they did know each other pretty well. my dad claims shannon was kind of a bully to him back in the day, but later on he saw blind melon at the metro shannon invited him back stage to hang out and stuff and they all signed my dads prosthetic arm. yall dont have to believe it or anything, thats the cool thing about the truth. its real whether you believe it or not.
Cool story bro,,,,,,tell it again. The interviewer was an assclown. "Yes, great show guys, what about the three people who have died so far???????" Obviously he was put up to by the producers, but sometimes you just have to say NO!...rain.
Yamilet Davila Chris Connelly is a douche. Obviously is was more amazing to Shannon than it was to him. And fuck you Chris about what Shannon's wearing!
*DUDE IS OUT-OF-IT* He can't even speak. The bald guy was looking down, like, "Oh shit....how many mushrooms did he eat...LOL* The MTV programmer knew it as well, and they cut to commercial.

So I figured there must be a band with a singer named Hank and the rain started when he was singing. If you know who Hank is, tell me please.
Petŕa?
An my biggest l musical loss ever .
I don't know who this Chris Connelly is, but just saying, i think it was pretty slack to not acknowledge Shannon's comment about him seeing people he knew from he is home town while he was on stage. Cos seeing something like that as a performer would've been pretty cool.
Las drogas destruyen...
You've just pointed out that he wasn't tripping on acid. Why do middle school kids love acting like they're drunk, or pointing out that others are drunk and stoned like it's something to be overly glorified. "Duuuude, he's so stoned!!!"
OK, if he is so what why does that give you joy (you being in general). And most likely they're not stoned anyway, they probably do that when they're not on stage. The ones in control like Hoon was (on stage)
Yeah he was, 8 years later, in fact on LSD. And im excited about it.
when death was mentionned the interviewer not giving a fuck wth
So awkward! Hoon would've been uncomfortable to interview
Love Shannon but fuck he is off his tree here. Fame must be pretty fucking hard to deal with. R.I.P Shannon
I'm not gay or anything, but I can't be the only person that thought he was hot at Woodstock
They were both on acid......That would have been trippy to look out into the audience while youre peaking on acid and notice someone from your home town.
Evan Dando
This just shows how terrible most interviewers are. Shannon gave him a perfect opportunity to have a real and meaningful conversation about seeing a person from his hometown in the crowd. But instead, the interviewer just ignored what he said and moved on to the next question on his list.
Hoon was 100% on lsd
this is hilarious, im sorry.
Acid
another pretty young, talented man lost to drugs. sad.
Pretty sure Shannon's flipping off the passive aggressive interviewer..and Roger's shirt says "on the right track for Jesus"...come at me trolls lol

You do understand you're describing the nature of color to a blind chucklehead, right?
So 3 people lost there fkn life ,,,and we're just gonna sit here a joke about it an care less about it ,,,that's sick
i expect people not to believe me, but the person he saw in the crowd was probably my dad. shannon is from lafayette, indiana and my dad said he was pretty close to the stage when he saw blind melon at woodstock. they werent great friends or anything but they did know each other pretty well. my dad claims shannon was kind of a bully to him back in the day, but later on he saw blind melon at the metro shannon invited him back stage to hang out and stuff and they all signed my dads prosthetic arm. yall dont have to believe it or anything, thats the cool thing about the truth. its real whether you believe it or not.
Cool story bro,,,,,,tell it again. The interviewer was an assclown. "Yes, great show guys, what about the three people who have died so far???????" Obviously he was put up to by the producers, but sometimes you just have to say NO!...rain.
lol dad comments on these videos are so weird
Hoon wasn't meant for life past 30....Sometimes I feel I wasnt.
LSD
Was Shannon Hoon drunk in this interview?
He was on acid.
+Whole Lottanope I saw the documentary and he re lapse at woodstock 94 he later admitted he was on acid sad
Yamilet Davila Chris Connelly is a douche. Obviously is was more amazing to Shannon than it was to him. And fuck you Chris about what Shannon's wearing!
You're a fucking idiot dude. That's all.
*DUDE IS OUT-OF-IT*
He can't even speak. The bald guy was looking down, like, "Oh shit....how many mushrooms did he eat...LOL*
The MTV programmer knew it as well, and they cut to commercial.
Lsd is a hell of a drug

Pretty sure it was the heroin that killed him
@@thBrilliantFool well ur wrong, it was cocaine
I'm sorry I angered you man. Cheer up. Go listen to some Blind Melon and reminisce about the good ol days of early 90s alternative rock when it was true alternative.
This was '99
Shannon died in 95.
Lol
Greysin Lee It was ‘94, dumbass. Shannon died in ‘95 and Blind Melon wasn’t a band in ‘99.
Can't stand Connelly, but thankfully they cut off before Kennedy!! lol
Shannon was such a prima donna.
No he wasnt.
90's music spirit should rise again in today's lyrics and nuance. Too many stupid hedonist music today sicken me
