Linking with Dr. Dre at a stop light... ughh you gotta love the 90's 😩🔥🙌🏾
so organic. if white people owned deathrow and created all eyes on me, every college would have departments dedicated to that movement.
Talk about great timing and luck
Sam sneed came to LA looking for Dre aswell, ended up boning a chick who babysat for Dr Dre kids lol
These days we got more IG & less good music.
Yo I Checked Yalls Two Pisces Pages Out, Yall R Hot Holla At Me!!! 😏😏
My boy told me for years about his guy J Flexx's ghostwriting. I dont know J but my boy was there when it went down with Dre. Glad somebody found him to give him a platform to speak truth
He has a song on death row greatest hits how he wrote natural born killa and other shit
@@geeejeee8885 what's the name of the song ?
This is one of the best interviews I've seen to date!! J-Flexx is not only a prolific writer but a fellow Veteran. It takes a strong Brotha to go through all that drama and tell the backstories so calm, cool, & collected! Now I'm in the know of the Author of those hits we were rockin while stationed overseas..🙏🏽🔥🔥🔥
His story is a prime example of taking a leap of faith, I’m truly inspired by this brother...
This man ain’t no ghostwriter, he’s Dr. Dre. He make Dr. Dre is the Wizard behind the curtain 🧙🏽♀️ in the Wizard of Oz. He ain’t get the money but I’m giving him his proper respect. If you know funk music and Dre style, it belongs to this man. Solar records, and from Ohio. That’s this man.,I’m sorry he has to lawyer up and get his catalogs and royalties
Bro, if lawyers up it might get him killed rich people don't play court games Dre might get pissed and boom a bounty on him and take him out
Do believe in the boogie man, that’s why we left behind, we talk this street code against are own people. That way they both lose. One in jail one dead. Take it to court and they both can get paid with the right negotiation.
How old are you??? You can tell y’all young goofy Niggias anything and y’all believe it!! How come everyone that’s not successful comes out 10,15,20 years later complaining about shit all of a sudden??!!! This podcast shit revives niggias careers!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
@@hamzah6731 nah, Dre ain't gonna do that no more cuz he ain't got Suge taking a percentage of his money anymore, at least I believe. Dre is close to a billie, if not over it. All he's gonna do is throw out a settlement offer and probably just tossing him a couple millie and that ain't nothing to someone that's damn near touching a billie. There's zero risk, it's quick, it's done and over with, they'll make him sign off where he can't get anymore money and probably where he can't even speak on it anymore that he even had anything to do with it. So in a few years his name will be totally erased from the history of the records and the video clips will probably get pulled and banned off CZcams. The system loves to protect their house boys, they keep all the other dudes in check and they don't ever have to worry about getting their hands dirty anymore. Specially after the Pac and Biggie ordeal. If word didn't get out that they were going to go off to start their own record label together called Eutopia and become one of the first black owned record distributors where they would end up owning 85-90% of all record sells like Master P went on to do just a little bit after all this happened. But one word out was Suge's wife and the security guard who was fking her planned on killing Suge and Pac in order to takeover DRR and have Pac's sells go crazy cuz of his death cuz they seen how it happened with other's like E after his death. But he was so connected that I wouldn't doubt that they planned the idea in his head cuz that seems a little advanced for a security guard. Y'all need to realize Pac was so in debt to Suge and sure owned do much of his work that he died in debt, they talked about it otherwise he wouldn't have spoke about the new label. They were gonna stay connected. Suge bonded him out when he had nobody in his corner and Pac was a very humble person when it came down to people having loyalty and having his back. That's why Pac was such a workaholic, he was so far in debt but nobody wants to report on that cuz it would destroy the Suge controversies about killing Pac and they needed the propaganda for many reasons back at the time. So much was going on.
💪👋👋👋
I usually don’t stick around for too many interviews, but this one definitely had me glued. 🔥
Right
Gene was right !!!! That's who he was talking about when he mentioned a guy in a death row jacket that approached biggie and showed him love at the vibe party .wow !!
I'm glad Pac came to Flexx in a dream and patched things up.
I can honestly say this is one of the best interviews I seen in a long time. J-Flexx kept it a buck and didn't sugar coat anything. He wasn't bias about anything.

One of the realist interviews and dude I seen in a long time! I think he speaks from the heart. He is no gang banger but he is no punk either.. He sounds like a stand up dude,he was raised right… Compelling, fascinating and riveting all at the same time. Hip Hop history here….

That’s dat Midwest in him💯💯💪🏽 Dayton, Oh
This man is an honest guy if he was given his proper recognition for his talent & the work that he put in he would be wealthy...For him it's not about the street B.S.it's really all about the music...I hope that he gets what he rightfully deserves...excellent interview 👏 👍
Real Ohio Playa 💪🏾💪🏾
He said he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed! What an honest assessment! These guy seems like a good friend to have! I love his interview!
This white boy from the midwest bought the Gang Related Soundtrack and Deathrow's Greatest Hits right when they came out. Been a J-Flexx fan half of my life. Had no idea he was a veteran from Desert Storm. Sound's like he's had quite the life. Thanks for the interview.
Ngl, hearing about Pac and his drive to get his music out, straight out, made me tear up. This is a mandatory interview if your grew up in the 90's.
All eyes on me in 4-5 days!!! That's fucking phenomenal!!!!! Damn I miss PAC!!!! And Easy!!!! Damn it man!!!!
4-5 days and a double album… plus all the tracks that didn’t even make the double disc album. That’s crazy.

@@Gunn27 wtf you say? Cray cray? 🤨
this is the most honest interview i have heard that shines the light on deathrow from the perspective of someone who was there that was about the music, not the street shit.
This interview a instant classic. Yukmouth and C-BO was just talking about J-Flexx being behind Dr Dre biggest songs on his podcast.
Yep.. Cbo is looking for him too..wants to do some work with him
Clearly Dre is nothing with other people Flexx being written for him, sneed making all good beats for him....🤷🏾♂️
@@willwinston9616 I fuck with C-Bo for real!!
@@sergemulapa6935 even back in the day, cube wrote his earliest work then RBX, flexx and even Jay z
Facts. TOP AUTHORITY from Flint was over on Dick Griffey label too Solar.
Appreciate the full video upload, when I can watch it properly all the way through. Definitely, 1 of your best interviews 💯🙌🏾
As a writer I could always tell but never thought they would expose it. It was the way he rode the tracks that didn't sound like he wrote it but memorized it
Worst one was 'forgot about dre', couldn't even keep up with the beat properly. So obvious he didn't write it.
@@635design4 That not even true do you rap how you rap you make beat you know when a bass line drops...Some people just like to talk... Eminem rhyme a little faster n pocket...But as I say different cadence's to a beat ain't alway gonna have the same flow...So time sounding off beat n certain area of the beat give it more flavor...The ain't just the beat the voice can also be apart of the beat... It's when a person is so off that it don't match up with the beat you can say they need more practice...How you think they was able to have Easy E..Match the beat tempo n Ice cube n wasn't alway there for the performance...So Dre had to express how he wanted Easy E to flow to a beat...He was never a rapper but was born to have Talent....
It was Blatant with Still DRE tho. You can hear Hovs 2000 flow
Dre never writing his own rhymes has never been a secret.
Use to ride the shit out of them
Damn. That was a great interview! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Tho he didn't get paid like he should, those memories and being a part of that legacy is priceless.
I think his response to the song hit em up was universal at the time. I can still remember hearing that song for the first time and being blown away at the song and then the video! Till this day no one has ever banged on another human being like tupacs song. 😢😢
Loved this Interview... Dude should write a book.. You can tell everything he said was true because he's not on no wanna B Tough Man stuff . He was a real one and was really about the music
1:37:15 He's basically told it like it is: Dre is a straight crook.
I've watched this interview like 4 or 5 times and idk why but I love it. Ill probably watch it another 3 or 4 times. I like this dude's vibe. Very down to earth and has a great story
Hell yea me too I love this shit lol
I love hearing humble beginning stories they’re the best 👍

Damn, I never seen this channel before, but its awesome to see an interview where the interviewer asks a question and lets the person answer uninterrupted.
Interview of the year. Hope he don't interview with that Russian guy
If Vlad did this interview it would be sliced in to 100 4min clips out of context with that idiot talking over him. You on the money!

Wow. I really enjoyed this interview. Dude is humble and down to earth. It's great to hear different perspectives of events from people who were actually there. He was there at Death Row in It's prime.
Sitting here in my bed with covid reliving the glory days of Death Row with one of the best bench players many people didn’t know about. Humble interview, didn’t seem to add his own bias but just stated facts with creative storytelling and was always able to say ‘I don’t know about that’. Loved this.
God bless you. Prayers that you feel better. I had symptoms up to a year later.
Did you get your 5th - 8th booster? 💉 🩸?
Real talk Roger was probably the most down to earth stars that I ever met, and would actually remember you the next time you saw him. Cool brotha for real Rest in Peace Roger. Great stories and interview
Yo this was oine of the most epic interviews about that whole era. If this had gone up in '98, heads would be flying.
An incredible interview!! Really gives a deep insight about many rumored things happening at Death Row, as well as really showing the deep talent that they had there! Jflexx has to be known as a lyrical powerhouse Now!
There ain’t a rapper Dr. Dre with out him #OHPLAYA
These guys should know whenever Suge says "let me talk to you for a minute" it's over for you 😂😂😂💯
God bless you J Flex!!! Thank you for all the hits you wrote and I definitely will recognize that it was you writing them for now on. 👏👏👏
God bless people who write about drugs and killing people. Lol
Tbh I've never heard about J Flexx, but man this was a hell of an interview
You’ve heard of him through the hits Dre performed
Dr kept him under wraps, but kept him paid as well
You are 100% right this interview was 🔥.
Same here, 🔥 interview.
This guy wrote my favourite dre song, fully shocked this guy should be a millionaire
Nope, the game too dirty, people don't read the fine print

Well done J-Flexx
Great interview, Flex seems like a cool, humble dude and that's probably why he survived and thrives after Deathrow. Wish him much success in all his new endeavors
Real Talk.. Comes across genuine..

Everybody been waiting on a Sneed interview for years.

I was waiting for you to drop this full interview!
I had no idea he was the person b3hind all these classic Dr Dre songs. Dr Dre owes this man. He's responsible for his biggest records.
I agree.. He def owes him!
and I bet he's broke.. dr dre so shady smfh

NICE INTERVIEW! SO PROUD OF YOU FLEXX!
This guy wrote one of the coldest songs about addiction "Lady Heroine". The version on "Gridockd" soundtrack is the best. Him and Sam sneed played the background but you listen to their lyrics and you can see why Dre and others verses were the best.
I think should Dre should make it right with him and work with this guy again. The dude is talented and he seems like a stand-up guy.
Or pay him what he owed, he a billionaire
He dont Carry that shit like he a Victim

Stealing other peoples comments.
This man highly underrated 🔥🔥🔥
J Flexx ,Delray Richards , Darryl Harper and Richie Rich's interviews are the only interviews one will actually need about 2Pac, I can only imagine what Johnny J's interview would be like.
Johnny J interview would have been Fire!
Sad they killed Johnny he wasn’t giving up them masters.
Hope those masters are safe, sound. Rip Johnny J🙏
Great interview. This is the first that I've heard of J-Flexx. He seems to be a cool cat. I like his perspective.
Dope ass interview.. watched the whole thing front to back. ✌🏼
Fantastic interview. Thanks for sharing.
Very real dope interview. This guy is gifted and humble
Damn dude did some classics. I thought the "Ring ding song," when Dre said "you can't see me," meaning he's on a whole another level dudes can't see him. I didn't know it was about getting top. 🤣
My first intro to this guy. Stand-up dude. I love it!
Good interview with a very humble human being. Nothing shocking though, you don't need clickbait when you have guests like these.
Good interview though 👍 It's always informing when you get the inside scoop.
This man is legend, no doubt. Hats off for him, tells stories what are really interesting and keepn it right, real o.g🤜!!
Interviews with ghostwriters are one of my favorite, a think those guys are humble, maybe more humble than a lot of rappers and know a lot of stories, so thats why i like that
Sounds like Suge pissed away a gold mine.
Fo reals
Yeah Suge isn't very bright and he's guilty of a lot of stuff. But I still don't think he should be in prison as long as he is.
This interview was DOPE AF 🔥🔥🔥💯
I love when a man is not ashamed to say I DON'T KNOW!!!!
SALUTE 💪
Great interview Q&A. Keep their heads ringin meaning had me go back and listen lol
Do you see the entitlement in our people. Now this man has written some of the most iconic songs that Dre took the credit and the yaho for. Now Dre didn't want to be screwed by the late Eric Wright nor Suge knight but when this brother wise up and ask for his compensation up front he doesn't get a return call. And we wonder why we are last in this society.
Yep. Your "people" will stab your mothers in the back for a wooden nickel lol.
When did dre got credits

This was a great interview. I watch any Death Row interview I can and this one, Kenya Ware, and Kurt Cobain interviews have been classic.
Don’t get me wrong Dre has made some very iconic beats but guys like this that wrote for him should be paid and taken care of. Dre sits there as a billionaire
I wouldn't charge Dre no less than 100K per song. Ghostwriters for superstars should be paid just as well or better than middle of the road rappers.
