This oriki is really awesome spiritually My name is Ernest am not a Yoruba boy but as i listen to this oriki i could pray effectively,Thank You for this wonderful ministration
Me too, I'm half Black from America my Ancestors are Yoruba, among other people's and tribe. But Yoruba are the biggest portion of my African Ancestral background. I love this music because it feels like blood I'd even dancing I cannot explain the feeling it's overwhelming like I'm almost about to cry. I love all my people!! Isn't it a blessing to African!!
@@ElNegringoKreyolito it is true, because those of us who are descendants of mostly African ancestry that being over 90% and have a huge chunk of thier ancestry from the present day region of Nigeria, we're brought to the usa from the carribean! The first slaves actually came from the Senegal Gambia region, but many of them died out due to diseases introduced by Europeans. But the next waves came from the carribean from both Spanish French and English carribean islands. Most likely my ancestors have ties either to Cuba, Puerto Rico, Jamaica Barbados and Haiti. Both my grandparents were tested at over 91%African with very tiny amount of Europe ancestry a larger portion of First Nations ancestry, Hawaiian and east Indian as well as various African tribes. But most of my African heritage is Yoruba followed by Igbo then mende.

By the way, we kind of share an ethnicity; look up the word "chossa" when you get a chance. Shalom :D
I love seeing the Yoruba ethnic diaspora in these spaces ❤️

Olohoum is the name of the supreme being in the Haitian Vodoun the great master
Just learned something new. Now imma ask my good sister from Benin to sing some of his songs/praise for me in her language. 🥰
@@EgunBiyi.OrisaYege In Benin only the Yoruba would call it that the fon and other related groups would say mawu or Segbolissa
Wow
That is still yoruba
Olohun, olorun or olodumare refers to the supreme being

Pls is this a Christian song
Doesn’t matter. It’s about god , The same god you praise . Don’t let religion divide you from the message.
Yes, it is.
Yes
Eulogising God.
It is a Godly song. Period.
isn't this praying to the Yoruba God and not the real God of Israel ?
This is the attribute of the one and only God.
God does not belong to Israel
Who is the real God for you
Yoruba God!? I thought there’s only one God.
This is the Results of Wyte Washed Christianity!? 🤔
