Good on you for sticking with the screw on filters - I love mine, and your early vid on the magnetics sold them to me 100%. I totally agree they are so easy to use and take away all the fiddling about, especially with cold fingers. Looking forward to seeing the Snowdonia vid with that brill "Barnes Wallace" home made bag at its best ( I still can't find an affordable equivalent for clothes etc AND camera gear sadly ). Keep going Ian, sub count will keep going up with your no nonsense and no posing style.

Nice kit changes - I use the following landscape kit now: XF14mmF2.8, XF16mmF2.8 - my mostly used focal lengths; the XF18-55F2.8-4; the XF50-140mmF2.8 - and I added the TC1.4 for that extra reach you mentioned. I have tried the 55-200mm, and its a great lens - but for some reason I just love the images out of the 50-140 "better". Just sharper & more contrast/color right out of the camera. I could do some stuff in post to get the 55-200mm images similar, but I would rather get more right out of the camera. I went w/ the two primes rather than the 10-24 because I rarely shot wider than 14mm, and those primes take my Lee Seven5 filters "better" - less vignetting issues than w/ the 72mm filter thread on the 10-24. Thanks for sharing your expertise!

I only subscribed a few of days ago after stumbling across your 'Is the Fuji X-T2 still a good camera heading into 2020' video which I thought was excellent as I now own a used one I purchased recently, having decided that i want to concentrate on landscape photography for this year and needed to have an interchangeable lens system because the X-100T which I have been using for the last 4 years is a bit limiting for landscape photography although I have managed to take some half decent ones with it although I mainly used it for street & documentary and love this camera.I enjoy your no nonsense approach and none of this 'Look how brill I am' attitude that is all to prevalent nowadays. I will catch up with all your videos. This video has been very helpful for the sound advice and clear reasoning for the choices you have made with your set up. Thank you

Nice update Ian. I have just purchased a Gregory bag, got it cheap but love I can drop my tenba bag into the rucsack. Lost my filters a few months ago (Nisi glass set, fell out of my bag and floated down the rivee without me knowing) so saving up for new ones, might look into the Kase magnetic set, heard good things abt them. Congrats on the upcoming 10k subs, it won't be long methink. Looking forward to Snowdonia vlogs - love that place. Was supposed to be travelling up there next week but in light of the new on Corona today not sure us 3 60+ guys will be going - I had already decided against the Photography show before they cancelled - even though I already had my ticket. Gave some good ideas for kit with this video. I have the 10-24 & 55-200 for landscapes as I don’t do indoor shooting. Also use a Cokin Nuances set of filters but interested in upgrading so will check out the one’s mentioned. Only thing I didn’t like about this vid was the changing light. Nothing you could have done as the clouds were obviously moving across, but I did find it off putting. However, I still liked it and very informative. Thanks again.

Thanks Julian, yeah that light was a pain. I could have shot it inside but it was such a lovely day and after being cooped up in the office all week I was really keen to get out for a couple of hours. Thanks for sticking with it though 😃👍👍

I have recently purchased the Kase polariser & 100mm filter holder which fit my Lee Grads. I got so infuriated with the Lee 105mm polariser I have given up with it. The Kase circular magnetic 3 6 & 10 stop look very interesting when I am next feeling rich.Great videos Ian keep them coming please.

I shoot fuji using much the same gear - though I use the 55-200 lens which is smaller and lighter than the 50-140 with better reach. Kase filters - love 'em!

@@ian_worth I'd be really interested in a comparison of these two for landscape - especially for IQ and sharpness. The 50-140 is meant to be outstanding.

Great channel Ian, really helped me a lot. Recently upgraded my nikon apsc to a used fuji xt3 and 18 55 lens after watching how much you rated the xt2 and xt3. Using my old nikon and sigma lenses with a fuji to nikon adaptor for now . Bought the adaptor after watching your vintage lens vlog. Loving the xt3. Great work . Cheers

Another great video Ian, nice to keep up with your 2020 kit changes for landscapes, must be a photographer thing being interested in whats in other peoples bags. I've been following you since I switched to the Fuji system for landscapes last year with a XT2. I also bought a XH1 plus grip as the price was so great I couldn't resist but mine is being used for my other great passion of wildlife photography it just feels better in my hands for larger lenses, and the shutter is so quite.

The XC 50-230mm is a little underrated for landscape photography. It’s super light, sharp, has great range, and it’s affordable. It’s not fast at all, but if it’s bought just for landscapes, then I think it’s a great option.
