    Honda Sales Advisor here, the button underneath the VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist) (4:20) is not the front parking sensors. It’s actually audible sound off button the city & Jazz Hybrid makes an audible sound when driving below 25km/h in EV mode to alert pedestrians of it’s presence.

    Thanks for another interesting video. Incidentally, the previous 8th and 9th gen Civic IMA hybrid models also came with both normal and electric aircon compressors. It is able to blow cold air with the engine off at traffic lights. It's the 7th gen Civic IMA hybrid which only had a normal aircon compressor. Cheers!

  • @zaryl2k
    @zaryl2k Před 6 lety +1

    Excellent review there. Btw, i’ve read up much of the DCT technology. Apparently, it behaves pretty much like your MT (manual transmission) except it is computer assisted. Which means that you WILL experience some sort of jerk/lurch when accelerating from stand still and when the gear is changing from 1st to 2nd gear. This can be a bummer since you need to control your acceleration especially during heavy traffic. This eventually would increase more wear & tear to the dual clutched system. I found this out too when doing a test drive recently.
    But really, would you recommend this car mr. Kon?

    • @KonWaiLuen

    • @KonWaiLuen
      @KonWaiLuen  Před 6 lety

      That was an open-ended question for viewers to decide for yourselves. This is a price-sensitive segment, Honda needs to keep the car below a certain price, hence the decision to offer buyers a choice between either an advanced hybrid powertrain without the car's full range of features, or a fully-specced variant with a conventional engine.

      Bad experience on safety with this new car! During driving, the whole hybrid engine sudden off by itself and car immediately stopped at middle of road. All signal lights automatically switch on by itself. Only can restart the engine after a few minutes trial. However, the car only can running very slow at abt 20-25km/hr speed. Brought to Honda service center, they said system error and did reset. After a couple of weeks, it happened again sudden stopped on middle of road during driving. This time brought to Ackmar service center. They did some diagnosis and correction but don't want to finalise and state the car is safe for drive in their report. Is it they are less confident with the correction they have done? Very scary how if this happened in highway during driving.

My '17 jazz hybrid had gearbox issue too, but after many leave taken for inspection at the dealer, they claim that it was a "normal" dct noise, even though i feedback that i lose power when engine is running, during 1st gear acceleration out of u-turn/ accelerate from standstill. This happens so randomly that i couldnt simulate it for the dealer. Last month i wrote to honda msia, and they refer me back to the same dealer. Im lazy to repeat the whole diagnose process again... Are you experiencing the same / problems had been resolved? Thank you.
