I had a similar thing with the title of the song, I saw “Deliverance” and for a split second I thought someone had made a DnB remix of Deliverance by Opeth (a Prog Metal band from Sweden).

Hi James, what do you think about dnb nowadays? I think it loses popularity. This track is pretty neat. But for me it's not enough musical changing. I mean everything is great but in borders of genre. Why is so popular to make track in genre?
Do you have any examples of experiments in dnb in last half of year?

- Sleepnet - Angel Blade | Nik from Noisia + Former making weird dnb
- Zombie Cats, Sarah Pellicano - Chains | definitely not the typical Eatbrain release, zombie cats in general have quite the unique style imo
- Toronto Is Broken, BVLVNCE - Paragons | really well produced metal dnb!
- Vowel - Melange | weird imanu-esque style with some neat 4x4
- Notequal, Daniel Weirdone - Werk | journey through all kinds of dnb-related genres, dnb being the destination
- Teddy Killerz - Shine (Moekel Remix) | schnitzelpower from one of my favorite newcomers :D
- Puzzle - Crystals | defo imanu-esque, but has its own charme imo
- PRFCT Mandem - Airway Breeze | not sure what I would even compare it with lol
- Neuromonakh Feofan - Ha 3ape | russian folk dnb with magnetude as a producer, don't knock it till you try it haha
- SOL, Alec Primavera - So Far Away | been uploaded here so you might have seen it already, but still super unique imo
The biggest kind of experimental thing going on in the scene atm is the 4x4 stuff, been hearing it a lot more lately. Mostly in the techy/deep subgenre, but I'm sure we'll hear it everywhere at some point haha
Just in general you can check out people like gyrofield, Tom Finster, The Caracal Project or Rohaan, they are always quite different from most other producers around
