TOPIC: BEWARE OF BETRAYERS
SCRIPTURE: And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him. But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?
Luke 22:47-8.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Show me a person who is a consistent betrayer; such a person has no future in this world and in the world to come.
Judas Iscariot was once a disciple of Jesus Christ who lost his life and destiny. And one major attributes of Judas’ character was betrayal of trust.
Beloved, don’t live the life of a betrayer. Do not take people's trust for granted.
You will never be a victim of betrayal in Jesus Name.
Remember this: Show me a person who is a consistent betrayer; such a person has no future in this world and in the world to come.
ASSIGNMENT:
1. Refuse to be a betrayer.
2. Forgive anyone who has betrayed you in the past. Forgive them the way Jesus Christ forgave Judas Iscariot.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You deliver me from the temptation of betraying anyone, and protect me from betrayers. I receive the grace to forgive anyone who had betrayed me in the past, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
