- The recent Summer Break event has dropped and with it a new Event Shop. This, seemingly, time limited store is causing a bit of a storm but is it really bad for F2P accounts or are their ways to maximise your points!

Idleon is a freemium game which has you controlling up to 10 toons, each training in its own way and leading to unique opportunities to achieve bigger gains. If you like games like Runescape, Idle Skilling and Maple Story this is definitely a game to try.

The golden oyster is only 1% drop rate. It's been confirmed in the game code. Posts on reddit and discord are being deleted about it though
So no, you won't be able to get all bonuses F2P in this event
Yeah this sadly seems to be the case :( wonder if lava will acknowledge his bug...
It was pretty h*ckin' rude of lava to prevent players from using golden pocketwatches during this event, especially since this was a good rotation, I'm like 99% sure I was able to during previous events. Sorry for the strong language, but I do feel strongly about this.

Ive opened 250 coolers, got just 2 golden oysters wich gave me 5 points.
+ The two oysters i bought, i got time candies.
Oof! Maybe I got extremely lucky then! Apparently people have found that the oyster drop rate may be coded incorrectly and more like 1% so that could be the cause. But it's all hear say ATM!

Yeah, the extra rewards are very tempting to use gems on, especially for somebody like me who is far from the end game..
It's got some really good permanent bonuses as well as those pesky ring slot items!
After 2 days no point drops yet. Im drowning in time candy :(

@@0utsider2522 sadly no, It was actually hard to farm especially in mobile since it cause ton of lag when there are so many entities in the ground
Lava is a solo dev he can only do so much alone, if money is the motivation to create more content overall I'm fine with that. I'd rather the game keep getting updated then dropped entirely.
This is a really weird stance, this game makes enough money that he could bring on staff to help with the places he struggles. The solo dev thing is his ego more than anything imo

@@0utsider2522 THANK YOU! Holy shit I always say that when people bring up the "solo dev" excuse, he doesn't NEED to be a solo dev, he could hire more people, it's not an excuse
Let's say that Lava has 100 guys that buy gems and shizz for real money, he then alreaedy makes perhaps $10 per person per month on Average, that's $1000...
Let's not forget that there is more than 100 dudes that splurges on the game, a lot of dudes that buys the new packs every month, there's a bunch of dudes that already waste $200 a month on the game... let us not forget that the AUTO LOOT costs $5... Meaning Active AFK is literally impossible to do as a F2P.
I mean I'm a content creator so I fall into the category of feeding his habits

i don't know why but oysters don't work at all for me, i literally dont know why it doesn't work, the only guess i have is that it might be a bug. :edit: it works but mobs don't spawn.
Do you mean the purple oysters or golden? Golden ones don't spawn mobs only purple ones from what I've seen!
my problem wos i use purple osters in City and cant kill them

What people tend to forget is, that you are not supposed to get all rewards in the first event. Dont get me wrong. I really like the idea and ofc the bonuses to get them all at one event. But i think we also should consider that eventually next event we get same system with the same rewards so other players or newer player can also finish it. And then everyone is getting angry because there are not more rewards. Thats my perspective.
But as always, nice video. I do my daily 300kills but always forget abaout the doot killing and spike trap games , that stuff :)
I did try to mention that I expect it to be on a rotational shop format, but I do think that if you put content in the game it should be accessible to f2p it's how you keep them coming back for more! And you need f2p to keep your game alive when you're playing a freemium model game, so I get where you're coming from but I feel like it could be a little more accessible.
if u dont use the gemshop i think u will get to 1 or 2 upgrades max

How do you manage 300 boss runs a day?
The easiest way is to leave your bubo afk at W5 wurms to farm kruk keys and then run easy kruks 300 times. Whenever the loot drops and you pick it up hit the next spawn button in the top left hand corner. It's normally a kill every 10-13 seconds so can be a little click intensive but every boss has a chance to drop gems!

@@SeekNeo probably ES if anything but I've always found bubo works best due to the sheer amount of kills it can put out in that particular zone!
Hey a friendly tip: try to get better audio for your voice, it doesnt sound very good.
havent gotten any golden oysters i still have to do it after todays reset. but i got bad luck and im f2p.
@@Votexforxme I'll keep tinkering with my audio... It seems that what I'm hearing isn't the same as what CZcams puts out or I'm deaf to my own voice at those point haha
@@0utsider2522 it does sound "very far", sounds like there is a pretty hefty distance between you and the microphone youre using, like your have just cranked up the sensetivity and speak from the other side of the room, you should aim for a more direct sound, warm sounding quality. ofc. i dont know waht youre using but it sounds like a (without meaning it bad) 25$ mirophone thats stuck in mono quiality, for example when you have words with S you can hear that the audio pitches pretty high, that should never be the case.

@@0utsider2522 Yeah the microphone is alright, are you just "plug n play" and using it as it is by any chance or did you tweak the audio with software that could enhance the audio?
i know discussing that via youtube comments isn't the best, haha.

Have you trtied using only the presets that your microphone comes with or did you try something yourself?

And then from the crates you have an extremely low chance of getting oysters to get more.
