Sergei Krylov was born in 1970 in Moscow in a family of musicians - the famous violinist Alexander Krylov and pianist, teacher of the Central Music School at the Moscow Conservatory Lyudmila Krylova. He began violin lessons at the age of five, having first entered the stage a year after the start of classes. He graduated from the Central Music School at the Moscow Conservatory, a student of professors Leonid Kogan and Sergey Kravchenko (among his teachers are Volodar Bronin and Abram Stern). At the age of 10, he first performed with an orchestra and soon began intensive concert activity in Russia, China, Poland, Finland and Germany. By the age of sixteen, the violinist had several recordings for radio and television.

This concert and many others Sergej plays on violin made of his father- great violin maker Alessandro Crillovi (Aleksandr Krylov)..
I remember the other video of him performing this work that got taken down from CZcams. Only fragments of it remain on his Facebook. However, I downloaded the audio back when the video was still up.

Those who think there is no best .......its best if you keep your mouth shut.....you don't know very much when it comes to classical music.....stick to what you know,stop making stuff up......this guy is up there with vengrov.....but j.bell is on the bottom of the list.....Bell is a con....this guy is authentic....
